Lonely Planet Pocket Helsinki (Pocket Guide)

As you've probably realized if you're reading this, there aren't many travel guides in existence for Helsinki or even Finland in general. This guide contains great maps, neighborhood guides, and plenty of info you won't get from just perusing the Lonely Planet website or tripadvisor reviews.

This was a great guide for my trip to Helsinki. The pictures and maps were helpful as well as the restaurant recommendations. The size was perfect to fit in my pocket as I walked around the city.

Lots of good information!

I just returned from my two week trip to Finland and Estonia. The information in this little booklet was up to date and very valuable. In the back pocket was a map that came handy. The size of booklet was right, it fit comfortably in my purse. Only thing was the number to call taxi, it did not work.

Small, lightweight with great well organized info and illustrations

Not that keen on the layout of this. Preferred the Insight Guide which I also bought. However, it did have some additional info that was useful. There is not much choice on guide books for Helsinki unfortunately.

Good and compact but lacking any detailed information. But good to pick out what you would like to visit and then research it. Would have given it 5 stars if it had more information on the places to visit

This is a useful book if you are planning to visit Helsinki.Well written and contains much useful information for the traveller.

Compact, easy to use, and full of information. All good.

I like the honesty and clarity of this book and it is packed with so many helpful ideas . We are planning a trip in August with my teenagers and we can now plan a week's holiday with a lot more ease having read the travel guide.
