It’s okay but not the best because it’s floppy. We decided to use some yard sticks, trim them, and adhere them to the back of it to make it able to lean against my board without it just flopping over.

Great white part, terrible mercury red part
Love the thermometer (great size, my first graders could easily read it). but the red moveable red band in the middle is terrible! It is very hard to move and breaks very easily. It tired to cover it in tape to give it some strength, but that makes it even harder to pull the moveable red part through. The red part is so obviously tearable, it's just a couple steps tougher than tissue paper. I feel ripped off by this..the red part is unusable! I am desperate for a large size thermometer that my first graders can read, so I am trying to figure out how to make my own center.
