Life changing
I had seen this recommended a couple times in Buzzfeed articles but thought $30 for this was a stretch, but I’d been having trouble hearing out of one my ears and was attributing it to a wax buildup or something so I splurged and bought it. Used it in both of my ears, nothing came out so figured it was just a gimmick. Fast forward a month later, my husband and I spent 2 weeks in Aruba and from day 4 on he complained about his ears being blocked and nothing helped. We had tried ear wax drops and got what appeared to be a significant amount of wax out of his ears, but hearing was still muffled. We just got home and he tried this and the amount of gunk that came out of his ears is absolutely vomit inducing.

HARD WAX GONE!! FRESH EARS RESTORED!!
Every few years i get a real full feeling in my ear and it just get worse as time goes on. I had a painful experience with a doctor manually removing wax from ear when i was a teen. Never again! So anyway a few years back, I bought some device called the master blaster but i remember it was really expensive but at the time i was just desperate. That definitely removed the blockage which was about the size of a jolly rancher. So I have some experience with this scenario. Unfortunately the tip of that device broke and so i was unable to use it again. I was disappointed that the product broke and that I had spent a lot of money but at least the massive wax was removed. I'll never forget that experience.... that wax was almost a perfect square like a jolly rancher... the horror...So I get this elephant ear spray bottle because of the reviews here and at first when i got it I thought it wouldn't be strong enough. I started thinking about that fat syringe i used before. But the elephant ear came through! It was nice and soothing. Now this time, I wasn't suffering as much as I was a few years ago but I move my jaw and i just know there's something in my ear. I just know there's a nasty surprise there growing and I can not stand it. So I went to the sink and filled the elephant spray bottle with warm water. screwed the tube on tight, screwed on an attachment. Place the end of the ear attachment just inside left my ear. not too deep and i sprayed and it felt great!!Now I did this over the sink and i looked down and THERE IT WAS!! It was a hard crusty little MF. YAUCK!! 2 more hard ones popped out. I thought yeah they were conspiring to become bigger and badder but i foiled their plan of evilness. I know the game. I know how it works. So yes this spray bottle works. For those who think its not going to be enough pressure. When you get the water all up in the ear and you keep spraying, everything fills up and the flushing begins. This is more than enough. You don't need some stupid high power device like I found someone on you tube using a water pik??? LIKE WOW REALLY? Go ahead and mess your ears up. Your ear canal is delicate and your hearing is important. Don't do something to damage your ear drums. Anyway, if the warm water over and over doesn't get it done with this device, make a peroxide/water solution and use that through the bottle. What causes this hard ear wax? Honestly....I'm being honest because I am guilty of these things so i know better...Using q-tips inside the ear but it feels so good diggin for that gold but honestly its so wrong. ITS WRONG just throw away the Q-tips!By manual removal of wax with q-tips, you could be telling your body to generate more WAX and then it becomes a cycle. What's worse is that you are actually helping create the hard impacted wax by using the q-tips in the first place because for whatever wax you see that you remove with the Q-tip there will always be some left in the ear that gets pushed up and that compounds like interest over time, like our national debt! There is just no way around it.Also not drinking enough water in the day can also cause funky tough ear wax.I've read getting older, your ear wax will capture more skin and hair.Ear wax is really good for us. Its there for a reason. If you think u grow too much of it. Flush your ears out with this device and just chill out on using q-tips. Let your body get used to regulating the wax. I would not use the elephant flusher daily. Maybe once a month or maybe even once every 2 months or if u feel the blockage coming. Personally, I just don't want to interfere with the natural body process so much. Just my thoughts. Anyway if that doesn't work, then you need to see a doctor or maybe change your diet.Well I tell ya, its been over an hour since I washed my ears with this product and my ears are mostly drained out and I feel freshness! Good Luck kids!

Eureka I can hear normally again!
Eureka. I can hear normally again, after just hoping my ear would clear out on it's own, and using one of those ear syringes, which are lame and have little effect. I as careful at first only using half of the water just to see if it worked, then my son said that the doctor used the whole bottle of water, which I did, and it worked. This device immediately cleared out all wax. My son recommended it after he also had a plugged ear and his doctor used this brand.I am amazed! I FULLY endorse this product.

Yes, it's simple. And yes, it's still worth $30.
After years of wondering about my daughter's ears, I finally bought an otoscope to take a look, which eventually led to this purchase, and thankfully resulted in CLEAR EARS!We noticed early on that her ears seem to get abnormally gunked up. It's been that way since she was a baby and the pediatricians over the years just shrugged and suggested Debrox and didn't seem to be concerned. Since that never seemed to release much earwax, we just assumed that it hadn't been that bad in the first place and must have cleared things out. She's 9 now and she's developed a weird little cough for the second time in the last few years. The first time they couldn't decide what caused it (no other symptoms) and decided to dose her with codeine. We weren't thrilled, but didn't know what else to do and eventually the cough did go away. This time, while we were waiting at the pharmacy for another 'we don't know what else to do' allergy prescription, I had some epiphany that maybe it could be an ear thing. I did some research and found that yes, blocked ears CAN cause a cough. (Why had no one ever suggested this before?) We tried the less-drastic methods (baby oil, hydrogen peroxide) and this time I had an otoscope to check our progress and avoid a repeat of our 'must not have been that bad' stupidity. I came back to Amazon looking for more solutions and found this bottle. Yes, it's a $30 spray bottle with some extra parts and it's not much to behold. But if the $30 would spare her whatever trauma (or perceived trauma) she might experience at the doctor's office, I figured it would be worth it.And it was.I read all the directions, which I agree were a little lacking. There's a lot of detailed information about what NOT to do, but not a whole lot about what TO do. I filled it with 9oz of body temp water and 1 oz of white vinegar (as suggested), put her in the bath, and got started.About 3/4 of the way into that 10oz, when I was starting to doubt that this would actually work and my daughter was getting really tired of the process, I pulled out the tip to give her a break and saw something peeking out of her ear. I brushed at it a bit to see if it would come out and it did. Oh my goodness! I'm not exaggerating when I say that it looked exactly like a raisin. A raisin-sized hardened chunk of earwax was just flushed out of my poor kid's ear! And I have no idea why it built up and how long it even takes for it to build up, or how often we'll have to irrigate, or whether it will help her cough, but it's out! I can't believe THAT came out of her ear!So it's a Home Depot-esque spray bottle with some cheap hose attachments and the tips aren't reusable. But it worked. And it worked when nothing else did. And it saved both of us from what all but promised to be a scary and mutually miserable trip to the doctor's office.I'm giving it four stars because some things (like the directions) could be improved. And since I didn't actually flush my own ears, I can't say much about how comfortable it is or isn't. I do know that I have a pretty panicky little girl (screams if there MIGHT be blood on a skinned knee) and she survived the ordeal with minimal whimpering. So I think it probably can't be that bad. All in all, it probably shouldn't be as expensive as it is. But it works and If I'd known that it would work, I would've been willing to pay a lot more. Maybe we're just paying more for the concept than the execution. But did I mention that my kid's ears are clear now? :)

Easy to use and works wonders
This product is super easy to use and works so well. I’ve now used it on both ears at different times and had tremendous relief. What comes out is astonishing but it makes sense why you couldn’t hear when you see all the gunk! So glad to have this tool as my ears navigate perimenopause and all its changes. Highly recommend.
