Best 1200w out there at this price point!!!!!
I have $20,000 worth of equipment connected to two separate ones. I don't know why when I look back now and see 2 negative reviews by @Gob, and @Tomf. Their claims aren't accurate by any means. This Is a fantastic UPS and the seller had no impact on my verified response on the product. It's just disheartening to see people bash on a product that is cheaper and more energy efficient then the other 1200w ones out there on the market. Hopefully people read more into what they buy and problems like these could be avoided. *Cough, Cough* Have a nice day all!!!

Maruson UPS: Reliable, 5-10 min backup, stable output. Essential in unstable power zones.
I recently added a Maruson UPS to my setup, which has been performing reliably for several weeks. This 1000-watt, 2000 VA UPS effortlessly switches to battery during power outages, providing 5-10 minutes of backup—enough to shut down Windows using the included USB software safely. It powers my main PC/server, ensuring a stable 60 Hz sine wave output perfect for sensitive electronics. The only downside is the non-recyclable styrofoam packaging. It's essential for anyone in areas with frequent power fluctuations.

Great unit, easy to use, needs longer USB cord
Seems to work well and it's pretty intuitive.Just beware that the included USB cable is only about 4 feet long. If you plan on using the power management software, you'll either have to put the UPS right next to your computer or order a longer cable. My PC tower is on the left and my power outlet is on the right, so the UPS is directly under the middle of the desk which is annoying.

Great bang for the buck
Came across Maruson when I was looking to replace an older UPS that had wonked out on me. So ordered and hooked this one up. Running it for the last few weeks, I’ve been pleasantly surprised at the great value I’ve got out of this one.I have it hooked up to my main pc which also happens to be a server (files, printers, etc) for the house. Tested it a few times by flipping the breaker and the unit transfers seamlessly to battery power. Battery lasts 5-10 minutes (also shows up on the LCD) which is pretty standard and plenty for the auto windows shut down to kick in. The software and USB hook up is a lifesaver since you can set it up for the auto windows shutdown.Anyways, great value and I’m glad I didn’t have to shell out an extra $100-200 for a fancy one that does exactly the same thing.

Product did not work. Seller was nonresponsive.
I received this, took it out of the box and hooked it up. Display was fine, no output to any of the outlets.I tried return it; but, it is third party. I submitted a request; but I received no response. Apparently, they are OK with stiffing their customer. I am no longer a customer. MARUSON is off my list.

Large capacity UPS to protect electronics
This is a 1000 watt, 2000 VA uninterruptible power supply to protect Electronics. It has a USB interface to my windows PC that has a multitude of diagnostics to keep track of how to UPS is doing.Anyone that lives in an area that has outages, brownouts, or over-voltage events, should have a UPS feeding their electronics. The output of this UPS is a perfect 60 Hz sign wave, which is exactly what you need to have.

I got 2.5 years out of mine
It had a two year warrantee, it died at 2.5 years. I have other older UPS's in the same room, this product didn't last nearly as long as it should have.Instead of 1 star, I gave them 3 stars because the seller was very responsive, even if it was to tell me that it was out of warrantee and tough luck. They even followed up and said that I could buy a new battery and they would do the labor for free. great seller, selling a crummy product.

Extremely High Pitch AC noise, company says it's "normal"
The media could not be loaded. I have two APCs (one about 20 years old, one newer) as well as 15-20 year old MGE Mirage which recently died. APC and Tripp-Lite seem to be hit or miss out of the box and the units themselves (not the batteries) only last a few years now, so I've been trying to find a new preferred UPS brand for devices in my home. Maruson got some decent ratings so I wanted to give them a try.The UPS itself seems to work fine. It's noisy when it runs on battery, unlike my older MGE and APC units, but since I'm rarely on battery I'm OK with that. However what's absolutely not acceptable is that when plugged into the wall, even if there are NO devices connected, the unit has an extremely high pitched noise that it constantly emits. Rough guess it's about 15kHz and maybe 20dB - not loud, but it's extremely high pitched and constantly in the background.I suspect the power supply in the unit is just noisy. Maybe it's cheap chinese crap and these are even worse than APC or Tripp-Lite, or maybe it's defective and I got unlucky. Rather than return it and try another one (since these are heavy and I don't want to drag it to a shipping center) I reached out to the company. After sending them a video they told me "Based on the video, the UPS is operating normally." Maybe all their UPS's do this, but other companies don't.Ultimately I may still keep this to avoid the hassle of sending it back. I have a NAS and cable modem in my basement which are on a (quiet) APC UPS which I may just swap with this one, since it's in an unfinished section of my basement and the fans on the NAS are loud enough to drone out the high pitched whine.Video attached had my phone close to the UPS to pick up the noise, but when I'm sitting at my desk with the UPS on the floor I can hear it. If you turn up the volume you can hear the continuous tone it emits.
