After about 5 uses, no longer sticky and to be discarded.
It is written on the cover box of the earplugs that these are to be discarded after upto 5 uses, when these becomes non-sticy. This aspect has not been mentioned in the description of the website. Thus it is very very costly. It is non-returnable, otherwise I would have returned the packet.

Genuine Earplugs from America
These are genuine Mack's Pillow Soft Silicone Earplugs from USA, except in USA they cost Rs 280 ($3.95) and here in India they cost Rs 1,039 ($14.60). I have been using them for over 20 years and they are my favorite earplug because there is no pain like the types that you have to put inside the ear canal. For these, you roll them into a ball and you press them on top of the ear opening and it creates a seal. I use them every night and they last about 2-3 weeks. Then they are too dirty and the stickiness goes away so I have to throw them and use a new pair. Like with all earplugs, the sounds do not go away entirely, but they are muffled so noise is easier to ignore.

Tricky and too expensive to be used on a regular basis
Mack's Silicone Earplugs (6 Pairs) are made from a kind of malleable silicone putty that can be shaped to stick to the user's outer ear canal, thus creating a seal that blocks out noise. While it is really effective in blocking out noise, the 'sticking' power of the putty starts to lessen after about 3-4 uses per piece. This means that each ear plug is likely to fall out of the ear, especially when used by sleepers who toss and turn their heads quite a bit while sleeping. The product is best used when the user is AWAKE, but needs a quiet environment for activities such as reading, writing, meditation etc. Also, the diminishing adhesive power of the silicone putty makes it too expensive to be used on a daily basis.

Watch a youtube video on how to use them before actually using them.
One of the best and most comfortable earplugs i have ever tried. They mold perfectly according to my pinnae ( external ear ). It easily block the noise upto 20 decibels if molded properly covering all the crevices. It literally blocks the construction sound of a house being made next to mine so that i can study and sleep in peace. Highly recommend this to the people who would understand how to use these and benefit from them.

happy while comparing to other available products......
Hi , i bought this one week before for my son who underwent ear surgery years back and advised not to allow water 💦 into the ear, so there on we are using multiple devices to prevent water entry to the ear but all devices has its disadvantages, so far we have used vaselline cotton balls, foam ear plugs, silicone swimming plugs, mack’s orange color silicone putty also …. None of them worked well but this white colour pillow soft putty is working fine , it fix with water tight , mould with ear curves, secured in position for duration…. I never used to review a product but I struggled a lot to prevent water entry for my kid and i believe it may help one of the parents like me…. Thank u Mack … Thank u amazon, i have attached some photos also which taken prior to apply , in position and after removal its mould….Pros: fixing, water tight , secured, no water entry … not annoying to the wearer….Cons : bit pricy ….. not sure about noise reduction since it is rendered for water protection only ....

Hardly blocks any noise..
I have a bar behind my bedroom, which makes sleeping very difficult. I've tried all kinds of things including the orange earbuds.. But nothing much helped. I was really hopeful on this product, but turned out to be of no use. It claims to block out 22 dB of sound, but honestly, it really dint make any difference whatsoever.. I remember reading a review where someone mentioned u might as well use cotton! I think the orange medical earbuds were really much better
