Practical force multiplier
Not full tang, stainLESS steel, wide, useful face, blade, orange zytel (or similar) handle. Scoops and spreads well, blade flexes at handle/blade junction somewhat due to lack of full tang- which is fine for this knife's stated applications. Ive owned one for 16 months now, and it's still performing 💯. Blade has a few rust spots typical of low grade stainless steel, but nothing some fine grit sandpaper and steel wool won't quickly buff out. Handle is comfortable to use with big(ger) hands (size L male). Blade serrations cut well on light to moderate-duty targets. Used extensively car camping. Overall, 4.5 stars. But, am giving 5 stars due to the overall value x performance factor- as knife cost me $6.99, originally, and currently sells for the same. I researched the right spreading/serving knife for the $$ waaay longer than I should have, probably, and settled on this specimen. If you're on a budget, and require something cheap that does the job and covers all the bases, I recommend this force multiplier spreading knife.

Love it
I've been looking for something specific to my needs. This item worked perfectly for me. I spreads anything perfectly and with ease. The handle fits my hand great. Plus what I really like is the serated edge to cut the sandwiches without getting another knife dirty. I am so happy I found this. Highly recommend. Price was great and very durable and easy to clean.

Great knife, spreader for less money
When my granddaughter was going to college, she got a job selling knives. Well-being a good grandmother I bought her knives. They literally cost hundreds of dollars. The only knife that I felt that I had to have another one was a butter spreader. It cost over $100 for this spreader… Ridiculous… So I started to look for another one that would be less expensive. I bought this one. It works just as good as the one that was hundreds of dollars and I use it every day for everything. I no longer can put butter on the table without my husband, asking for this knife

I really want to love this utensil
I really want to love this utensil....I really do. Whoever designed the geometry of the blade was spot on. For your normal sandwich making affairs, it holds the perfect amount of spreads. Mayo, mustard's, jellies and what have you....all are dulled out in the correct proportions. Brilliant! The blade has the absolute best angle and curvature of any spreader that I have used. Perfect! The cutting serrations are spot on for hard and soft bread slicing. Beautiful! The plastic handle seems to be holding up extremely well in the dishwasher. Plus! Now the problem... The blade is just not up to stainless steel standards. *Sigh* It always seems to dry with some type of funk or semi rusty looking stuffs on the blade in patches. Maybe I got a bad batch edition. Who knows. Buy it, try it out, maybe you will get a higher quality stainless. For the price, you can not beat this sandwich knife hands down. I would have gladly paid double for a higher quality steel.
