Fun and Fast scooter for kids (including big kids)
A neighbor had one of these scooters and we decided to get it for our sons 9th birthday. It is definitely more power than he needed at his size but he can handle it and rides responsibly plus I feel like this scooter will last him for several years of use. It really is a great scooter that can be used by kids all ages and sizes (fun for the whole family). I even have been known to ride it myself and I am 6'4", 220lbs and a mid 40's big kid at heart. This scooter is very well made and heavy. Assembly was super fast and easy when it arrived. Tires are well made and provide a nice soft ride. Handles easy, brakes are very responsive, and acceleration is really fast....this thing is super quick. Have used it for about 6 months now and not showing any signs of losing power or charge. Usually just keep it in the garage and charge it overnight...always trying to unplug it the next morning as sometimes it may go a few days or more without being used. Very happy with this purchase and seems to be the most popular scooter in the neighborhood as a couple other families are now planning on picking them up for their kids over the holidays. My only suggestion is maybe add a cup holder?? Very Good product and lot of fun for the whole family. Always ride with a helmet and proper pads though as this scooter does accelerate quickly and it has a pretty fast top speed.

Long lasting
Love the Razor e300 electric scooter! I bought one in 2016, I still have it and it works great. The battery probably needs to be replaced but for being 4 years old it still goes about 12 - 15 blocks before needing to be recharged. It has always been garage kept and not left out at night or in rain.I recently bought another one April 2020, the same Razor e300 because we loved the other one so much. I did not buy the newer version cuz the reviews were not as good as the older version. I'm glad I did buy it because it's great. It goes very very far before being recharged. It is great for kids and adults. Of course the more you weigh, the slower it will go. Easy to ride. Easy to charge. The only thing would be that its heavy, not that we pick it up and carry it around but if you wanted to use it for commuting, you cant just pick it up and put it on your back or bringing it up stairs. And it does not fold up, which makes no difference to us. Love love love them! Highly recommend!

A-OKAY
Wow it's been a while since I reviewed anything on Amazon. But I was pretty happy with my Razor E300 scooter so here's my take:Purchased this scooter October 2016 to commute to work 4 times a week. When I first started riding, from home to work one way is around 1.6 miles and it only took 15-20 minutes- not too shabby considering it is on the hills of San Francisco. For 6-8 months, it worked great- 1 charge got me to and from home without me having to take my charger to work. The last 4 months, I definitely noticed the battery dying so I had to charge twice per day- once when I get to work and once when I get home. The scooter has been noticeably slower as well. It doesn't go as fast as it used to- I do the same route everyday so it obvious that the scooter isn't making the lights like it used to. After one year of continuous use, I am now looking to donate this to the local Goodwill (it still has life in it and I am sure some kid would love to go on a joy ride on it) and need to find a new scooter transportation.I know what you are thinking- "Geez. Only a year?" Actually, despite it only lasting for one year, I thought it was a great investment- I only paid $225 (tax included) whereas the San Francisco monthly bus pass is $75/month. So I ended up saving almost $700 in transportation costs #winningPros:Wide, hardy tiresPretty quick chargeBarely any maintenance neededSturdy and easy to maneuverCons:Not the prettiest of all scootersOn/off switch- very steal-able if left unattended in publicSlightly cumbersome and heavyCannot fold

Razor creates a practical, kid friendly package
Razor creates a practical kid friendly package which combines ease of use, safety, and reliability. I have driven my e300 scooter over 1,000 miles in the last two years. I can truthfully state that this scooter has never treated me wrong. But there are some minor gripes I have about this scooter. The ride is very stiff, partly because of a strong steal structure and hard tires. Deflating these tires doesn't make the ride softer it only slightly numbs the ride and gives the normally stiff ride a rubbery jiggle. Unfortunately even with deflated tires hard impacts still come through and handling is compromised and feels as if you are skidding when you are not, which will diminish confidence in some riders. Braking is marginal at best and lock up is extremely common and in emergency situations it doesn't inspire any confidence. Due to these braking short comings your rear tire will probably only last about 200 miles before it blows out. However there are many great things too. This is a zippy way to get around town and is built like nails. After over 1,000 miles I have had the batteries replaced once free of charge under warranty. The battery reset switch and the rear tire. Battery life is good at about 7 miles on flat land and the motor may make a lot of noise but has hardly aged because it still goes 15 mph for me. I can say this scooter has been through snow sand rain and has gone on mountain bike trails, and has done it with flying colors. I have only fallen off the scooter once. It was on dry pavement and I just skidded in a turn on some sand. This is a really good Christmas present for someone in 6th or 7th grade
