Balega Blister Resist Quarter Socks blend mohair and synthetic Drynamix for the ultimate in blister prevention. The combination of fibers, and the seamless construction of the sock create a frictionless environment where feet are cool, dry, and protected. Drynamix—a synthetic high-performance yarn—wicks moisture away from the skin, while ultra-soft mohair—a trusted natural fiber for sensitive skin—minimizes irritation and regulates temperature in all seasons. Constructed to support feet during runs, hikes, athletic pursuits, travel, and daily wear, the socks feature a wide arch band and microfiber mesh ventilation panels that provide enhanced comfort and support, prevent pressure marks on the top of the foot, and promote circulation. A hand-linked seamless toe, and extra deep heel pocket ensure second-skin fit, while an elastic rib quarter top grip keeps out dirt and grime and prevents socks from slipping into running shoes and hiking boots. Balega Blister Resist Quarter Socks feature medium-volume cushioning that encloses and protects feet, creating a comfortable barrier between skin and shoe, and a reinforced heel and toe for exceptional durability. All Balega socks are race tested, and individual pairs are washed and inspected prior to shipping. Sold as a pair.

Definitely poorly constructed socks that do not last three times of use.
I bought these socks last month and wore them two or three times. The construction and quality of these socks is so low that after wearing them 2 or 3 times the seam in the toe cap has developed holes. The description states that they are made for high impact use and made to be durable. This is not the case. They are definitely not worth the $15.00 paid. I left info feedback for the seller, but alas no response!

Comfort, support, Best socks I have ever bought!!
I run 5K 10K and 1/2 Marathons. The tip of my toes point in a triangle shape making them prone to blisters from running so much. Swimming (having my feet in water) and good socks is so important. These Balega socks are the best socks I have ever bought and I’m buying more right now. They do run 1 size too small. I am normally a size 10 women and I bought a size Large they fit Perfect!!! I also like them up to my ankle because I feel I need that extra protection by my ankle as well. Made of some mohair which is known to help with blisters and wick away moisture. The extra cushioning by the heal and toes make my feet very happy which makes me very happy and that’s a hard task ;) Running with the fastest sneakers and supportive comfortable socks is running with the best me. I love this company, thank you Balega 100 ⭐️ stars for you !

Immediately caused blisters.
This "blister resistant" sock caused blisters on both of my feet within 3 miles. I tried a shakedown run. (It was a new piece of gear, after all.) I went out for a 5 mile trail run with easy going terrain (groomed, packed dirt trail with minimal rocks and tree roots) and minimal elevation gain (less than 500 feet). The outside air was dry and not overly hot. I ran at an easy going, 10 minute mile pace.Blisters set in about mile 3. I cleaned them. Tried them in different shoes. Same problem happened again. It is crazy to me that this company advertised these as "blister resistant" socks. I've paid three bucks for bargain bin socks that nobody wanted that have outperformed these things.I do not recommend this sock, or this company, for your trail running or road running needs.

Contains Wool!
I've been buying Balega socks for several years. I have a lot of issues with seams bothering my toes. I'm a nurse and on my feet for 12 hours + at a time in shoes that don't breathe since they are designed to protect your feet from various fluids. Balegas have always been my go to socks for work and as a bonus they work great when I go camping and hiking. That was until I got these socks. I am allergic to wool so I'm pretty careful about what I buy. These list "100% Other Fibers" and mention "Drynamix" very prominently throughout the listing. They seem just like the other Balega socks I've ordered only taller so I bought two pairs. Exactly what I was looking for. Wool is never mentioned once. I do know that Mohair is wool but even Mohair is mentioned sparingly and only if you search the entire listing including the fine print buried half way down the page. Other listings for Balega socks and most clothing items, list the contents of the garment with percentages. That's what I look for. When it stated "100% Other Fibers" at the very top, this led me to believe that these are the regular synthetic socks Belaga makes. If you're looking for great wool socks, maybe these are the socks for you. I will be returning them and after spending $30 on two pairs of socks, I am very disappointed and let down by a company I have counted on for years. Items should be more clearly advertised.

Very Low Quality Product
I have been a Balega fan since 2009. Since then, I only wear Balega socks for running. So far, I was a very satisfied customer. All my Balega socks were Hidden Comfort, and they were great. Then I decided to try this Blister Resist model and it was disaster. After wearing it for one morning, to go to the supermarket, they looked like my 2 years old socks. Then, I used then for a 8 K run, and the sole just started to "dissolve". The picture show a pair of socks that have been used for one day. These socks will not last a week. Further, they are not comfortable. I feels I will get blisters if I go for a longer run. Never felt like this with the Hidden Comfort. Summary, these are very low quality material, durability will certainly be an issue, and they don't feel comfortable at all. I am very disappointed, to the point that I am thinking of stop buying Balega at all. Don't buy these socks...

Impressed
I ordered a M. I’m a women’s size 8-9 in shoes and they fit perfect. Wore them thru 12+ hour summer days working in a print shop with no air-conditioning and on a 6 mile hike with a 1200ft elevation gain/ then decent. They were great in both situations. I wore them with my keen leather hiking boots. My feet didn’t overheat, the cushioning was good, and the overall feel of the sock was very secure with no irritating seams. $13 a pair really adds up when your buying 3 at a time. But for the quality I’m convinced to buy more. Just not all at once like I did here.

Best socks I’ve owned for blister-free running
Ran a half marathon in these socks and ended up with one small blister on one foot compared to previous ones where I had 3-4 blisters on each foot. Awesome job! So happy as each step wasn’t painful.
