Good time
I read the book and played assassin's creed 3 remastered and read the book again it's that good.I like how it's done in journal manner as you see a whole new view of templars and their order by Haytham's point of viewI think there are like 450 pages in the book

Gripping tale for revenge
First of all the story is not completely based on assassin's creed 3.The story focuses on Haytham rather than Connor who only has a limited role. It elaborates Haytham's life after the death of his father and how he got his revenge and how he was inducted into the Templar order (Bad guys??Of sort u decide). Brilliant writing by Oliver Bowden thrilling gripping and totally unpredictable.Must read for AC3 and black flag fans alike

Very good
This is very good i just got it after 2 days of order. I got a bit sad wen i realized it was a story of Hathyam and not Connor's but it is quiet interesting.

Comprato per un regalo, non ho visto che era in inglese ma è stata una piacevole sorpresa, in occasione in più per allenarsi nella lettura straniera. Copertina morbida. Tutto come da descrizione.

Decent writing and story, True bonus any Assassin's Creed player
I'm very satisfied with this work that let us know more about the notorious Haytham Kenway in Assassin's Creed 3. Though some events do not match AC3, and even if there are some novellised parts, we definitely learn more about Haytham: missing parts of his story, and mostly how he's been feeling all along. While in the video game his decisions aren't obvious and sometimes surprising, Oliver Bowden has made a great job at explaining his feelings, his "instinct", and his recurrent dilemma between human and Templar.

A great origin story and plot, with amazing narrative and storytelling by the author
Oliver Bowden does an excellent job of creating complex characters, and the development of them throughout the story is captivating. The book is about a young boy named Haytham; who's father is murdered, and sister kidnapped under mysterious circumstances. A friend of the family: Reginald Birch decides to help Haytham find his father's killers.Throughout the story, you can "see" the change experienced by Haytham in his life. His story is told through a series of journal entries; dating from when he was a young boy, and eventually through almost his entire adult life. Taken over by his thirst for revenge, Haytham starts an epic quest for retribution, which eventually gets him involved with the centuries-old battle of Assasin's and Templar's. Two secret organizations dating back centuries of conflicts for Peace; but the nature of their work is often dangerous, and must be kept secret.Significant thought was put into this book, as it gives a great overall detailed description of the setting, and characters. Haytham's change in character can be described as a more ruthless and dangerous personality. Although he is the protagonist of the story, and is a relatively good person, his induction to the Templar Order, and his quest for peace through control of the people, is presented as the book goes on. Being a huge devoter of his "black and white" perspective, he is often clouded by his personal vendetta for his father's murder. All in all, a great book detailing an important character from Assasin's Creed 3; greatly recommended.
