Awesome - pictures dont capture the magic
Awesome - pictures don't capture the magic. my camera phone picks up to much of the lightThese are for molex power connection. I think newer pcs have connections on the motherboard. So these fit all pcs.Pink is awesome - you can see colour but brings out UVpurple is UV mostly. but slightly purplethe connections are molex with a thu connection. so you can plug both in and have the power pass through. They are magnetic so i just slapped them in place.obviously don't connect when the power is on etc.hope this is helpful

Magnetic? Since when?
These seemed a better option to the cold cathode tubes which seem to always have a very short lifespan, and seem like good value for money. If anyone is in any doubt they are indeed UV (purple/black light).I was surprised at how quickly they arrived, so a BIG tick in the box there, but when it came to fitting in my case they don't appear to be magnetic whatsoever which was a huge let down. As an aircraft engineer I know what is steel and what isn't! and my case is certainly magnetic to normal magnets. I have a fridge magnet attached so I know Im not wrong.Either I have been unlucky and the magnets have lost their magnetism or these are simply a duff batch and the magnets that I can see (small round black dots) are not powerful enough by far.Lighting wise, they pretty good and just two of these strips carefully situated, light up the UV reactive sleeving in the case very well. However I may decide to buy a further two so that the uv reactive components can be further illuminatred from more angles.Apart from the very distinct lack of any magnetism whatsoever (I fitted them using very strong metal sticky tape used in the aviation industry) they work well. The longevity of them remains to be seen however and I will report back.

Very bright
And easy to place with flexibility to change location. An upgrade on cheaper stick-on types which peel off and don't go back in place. They are a bit on the dear side though, so will only use on 1 PC.

Amazon = Awesome Forget RGB, UV lighting is the best option, these are proper ultra violet.
Wether you have UV tubing or coolant, these UV strips are pretty damn good. These also look tasteful and not tacky like inaccurate RGB lighting, theres just no happy medium, if your motherboard is completely loaded with RGB lighting like my Aorus x470 gaming7 wifi motherboard then these strips are a change for the better, i do not want a christmas tree on my desk with no hope of ever getting a proper white colour i like things to be subtle and classy, this is where UV lighting is the king.Every part of my motherboard shows a different tint of white which looks absolutely horrendous, RGB lighting needs to be calibrated otherwise it looks terrible, however UV lighting never presents such problems, if you want UV white you will get it and it will look 10 times better, ive already desoldered the leds from my motherboards ram slots and removed the ram slot diffusers as they looked so tacky and un-uniformed in colour, this is what happens when you run each individual led at exactly the same voltage, green and blue leds need less power than red to achieve the same brightness, this is why pure white is impossible unless the correct resistors are fitted. Gigabyte is not immune to this issue, all motherboard makers do this, they just slap leds everywhere and expect them to just magically work properly. These strips are really nice in my Lian-Li dynamic case, one across the top and one on the front pillar, both are unseen when the glass panels are fitted, you just get the lovely glow of the UV coolant and motherboard accents (orange)I dont think sunbeam make UV cold cathodes any more so UV leds are the only option, these are only marginally dimmer than cathodes which hadnt used to be the case, up until recently they were pretty terrible in comparison but now they are actually much better. but dont fall for buying cheap UV leds from eb*y they do not work and have very low bandwidth, grab a pair of these they are 10x better, you can control the brightness from 9 to 14.2 volts DC to taste, as they are magnetic your case cools them. These are 12watts so they are extremely bright and efficient in light output. Please dont use them in a white case though or everything will light up, stick to using them in a black chassis as then you wont see any purple light at all.I always use black antec P12 12cm fans in my machines and paint the fan blades with UV reactive enamel paint, they look bloody amazing with these lights, also painted the removable heatsinks from my corsair vengeance RGB ram too. much more tasteful than the overpriced RGB tat found on eb*y, amazon are the kings in quality products and speedy delivery, no other company touches them.Do i recommend these? hell yes, theyre extremely good quality with excellent light output, theres absolutely no need to use cold cathodes any more these are better and draw much less current. these are so good actually they light up my livingroom ceiling light cover blue from 10 feet away.
