The New Roget's Thesaurus in Dictionary Form

A good Thesaurus.
It is a good thesaurus. Roget's 21'st Century Thesaurus has more meanings than this one. Still, this thesaurus (edited by Normal Lewis) has its own specialties.Pros-1. The Thesaurus is thin and light weight. Hence easy to handle.2. Font size is big enough to read it properly without much strain on eyes.3. Selection of meanings is quite good.Cons-1. The paper quality is really bad. (like some other books of Norman Lewis)2. Not too many meanings are given for one word. Although enough number of words are given which can enrich your vocabulary. (Don't compare it with Roget's 21st Century Thesaurus. That one is far better than this Norman Lewis's in this aspect.)Final comment- Although it is a good thesaurus, I would recommend Roget's 21st Century Thesaurus. That book is better than this.

Limited list of suggested words
I was replacing my very old Roget’s Thesaurus so perhaps I am just used to the “traditional” layout, but I found the dictionary style did not offer ads comprehensive list of synonyms and antonyms. I will continue to use this one, but expect that I will be looking for an older version as I like to have a more diverse list of words from which to choose. I also find the more extensive list in the old version often jars my memory and encourages me to pursue other words that I may not have considered.Theo
