Fit great on my 2001 R1. I used the stock circle clip. It locked in easier than the one that came in the kit.

Great product, saved money
I have an 03 Yamaha R6 that fell during transport and busted the connector for the master cylinder. This part was a direct fit and saved tons of money over ordering the full assembly.

DOES NOT WORK ON A 2008 R6!!
Very disappointed in the product description as it states it fits for the 2008 R6. I did end up finding another alternative, but very angry that I went as far as ripping the OEM seal out and find out the diameter of the connector that supposed to go in is too big. Also, there would be no way to secure the connector onto the brake as well. So I'm not sure why this is being advertised to fit on 08+ bikes.
