Great laptop for gaming and school work. I love how compact it is for the amount of gaming power it contains. It has a number pad which is what I wanted. The battery does last longer when doing school work, but it's expected to die when gaming.

My former gaming laptop crashed and I needed another, so I went with this one, which is a bit smaller than the one I had previously (but was also far less expensive). I'm pretty happy with this one with a couple of caveats. First, I'm really happy with the RTX 4070 in this: it's an upgrade from my older laptop which struggled a bit with a few games like Dragon Age Veilguard (which, frankly, I think is more about the game than the laptop), but this one had fewer problems, and it runs all the new games i have beautifully. That was my main concern, and this laptop meets that need beautifully. I've had it since December and these are my caveats: first, I think the power adaptor could be better. It gets quite hot even if I"ve only been playing for an hour or so and I tend to play for hours at a time. I may just replace this eventually with a better adaptor. Also, the laptop itself still gets pretty hot, in spite of having better cooling than my previous laptop did. This may simply be a problem for all laptops running demanding games, but I had hoped for better with this one. It's also not very big--which is both good--easier to transport if need be--but the screen isn't that big either. Still for just a bit over $1000, I was pretty happy with what I got and my caveats may be simply something everything laptop struggles with. Overall, I think it's a pretty good deal, and am glad I got it.

This is a great laptop. Screen is really good looking, plays new games well, strong hinges and metal body. Really like this computer.

Do not buy from Lenovo. I bought this laptop brand new for almost $2,000 and upon arrival, it boots up, attempts to install Windows 11 and then immediately blue screens. Can't even load Windows in safe mode because it's not installed. I messed with BIOS and nothing helps. I even got a clean install of Windows 11 on an external USB 2.0, only to find out that my brand new LOQ 15 has a faulty SSD. The clean Windows install gets to 40% before failing. How do we get here, selling untested non-functional $2,000 laptops? Imagine buying a car and having it delivered to your driveway only for it to no run when you turn the key. Extremely upsetting, I was really looking forward to trying this out.
