This is perfect for us and my son loves it! I have had the rear seat and the bulky front seats, they were miserable. I couldn’t see my little one behind me and I put my butt in his face if I needed more torque, and the bulky front one bruised my legs. Now I can have the tandem attachment and my 2 year old can sit securely in front of me. My four year old rides on the tandem (which is trek) and my six year old rides next to us. This has opened up a whole new world of freedom for this family of little ones. It feels like when you first get to take off on your bike as a kid.

UPDATE: after a few weeks of use I remain of the impression the product is well made and sturdy. I find there is one flaw that could be easily overcome. Given the position of the seat when my daughter is on it her back is very close to the pointy front of my seat. There is no significant padding there and on a few occasions when riding over small bumps on the pavement my daughter’s back slid into my seat. She never got seriously hurt but I can tell that she does not like it. My suggestion would be for the manufacturer to offer a clamp-on backrest to protect the child from the main seat. Other than this the product is great.Overall I am very happy with the product. It seems well made and fits my odd folding bike (paratrooper pro) really well. The frame and clamps are in metal and secure the seat to the bike frame well. The adjustable foot rests and handlebar also work pretty well. Unfortunately the only “problem” I face has nothing to do with the quality of the product but rather with the age on my child. We have used it plenty of times already and with no incidents but I must always keep a watchful eye. Even though the seat position places my daughter between my legs I have to make sure she never lets go of the handle bar and that she never moves her feet from the footrests or worse still try to stand up on them. I wish the company made the sale seat but with some kind of bucket solution to strap the child to it. For a slightly older kid (mine is not even two yet) this is a great option.

Was looking for a seat that I could take on and off easily as I did not need a full time seat. Also, needed one that supported my almost 4 year old and felt he was too big for the back and don't like the trailers. This fit our needs perfectly. It is very easy to put on and off the bike. It supports his weight/size with no problem. And, after an initial nervous stage, he loves it. I recommend this product. (First Amazon review I have ever given and no consideration was given to me in exchange for my review).

This is a great idea, so simple and easy to install.I carry my 4y, is tall but is ok. I prefer this because we can have a conversation while riding...The system is ok, but not perfect. I will try to do my own small modifications, will try to stretch forward the bar so the seat could be a bit more upfront. The feet holders could be more tie to the frame I did my own solution, see the picture.

Once my 3 1/2 year old finally decided to agree to get on the seat he has loved it. We have been using it everyday so I can can ride along with my older kids on their way to school. I like not needing a tool to take it on or off or adjust it. My son obviously needs to be awake and holding on so we don’t go on very far rides where he might get sleepy. No cons I can think of- maybe just that I have to sit very upright so I don’t lean into him.

Our 2 year old loves to go for mountain bike rides with his dad on this seat. It’s solid, but easy to remove. We thought the handle was overkill at first, then realized that it would really help keep our son from flying forward during an abrupt stop. Peddling is a little wonky though, because our knees need to bow out a little to accommodate the seat. Not a huge deal, but would be difficult to ride really vertical uphills

super cool and easy to use! your child sits between your legs and arms so it seems extra loving and safe. easy installation, and great for travel if bike riding is a loved activity on vacation. My daughter and I both love this seat.
