It leaks !!!
I own 3 other pressure cookers, but I bought this one because it will work on an induction cooktop. It is extremely awkward to use, but that is the LEAST of it's problems. When it starts to build a little pressure inside, steam comes pouring out around the rivet heads that hold the handle to the pot !! Water also drips from the rivet heads. I have never seen a pressure cooker that leaks. Handles should be WELDED to the pot with no holes punched through it. A rivet will NEVER be airtight or water tight under high pressure. Amazon says no replacement is available, and I don't want to go through the hassle and expense of shipping it back and waiting for a possible credit to my card, so I will keep it and use it as just a plain cooking pot without a lid, or maybe an expensive flower pot. Like others, I have learned my lesson with Amazon. I will now go buy an induction pressure cooker from a local kitchen supply store, like I should have done to begin with.

No local support
This is an import from India. Pressure valve does not work like other pressure cookers and instructions are not clear on how it should work, I might ha a defective valve but it builds up pressure the relieves pressure in spurts of high steam output, not the rocking motion I'm used to with other pressure cookers. The lip on the top of base makes it hard to empty contents. The handle seems flimsy and does not line up to engage the latch on center. Web site has no info or recipes as stated in manual (or I could not find it). There is no authorized repair center as far as I could tell in the USA, they are all in India. There is a U-Tube film on use of product but it's in a language (Indian? maybe).

Does not work with Induction Stove Top
Got it. Tried it. It does not work on my Induction Stove-Top. The stove will turn on for about 5 seconds, but it doesn't sense it and automatically shuts off. Tried this on all the "burners".I don't know if this will work with an induction "hot plate" as I don't have one to try.The box DOES say that it IS Induction compatible, but I guess not for my flat top induction stove.
