Very much recommended!This book gives you perhaps the best insight into the IQAF use of the Mirage F1, including its development and the training the iraqi pilots did.Missions are explained in extreme details; flightpath, altitude, refuelling, weapons, target and so forth.The Super Etendard is also mentioned, though not in the same detail.This book is a must for any Mirage F1 fans, IQAF historians or just everyone who wants knowledge in a often overlooked aviation subject/area.

This is a fairly interesting and well researched book on the subject of the Iraqi Air use of the Mirage F.1 in addition it also covers the very brief use of the Super Enterand which France loaned to Iraq for a time period during the Iran Iraq War.I really hope that this author writes some more books on other Iraqi Air Force aircraft used during the Iran Iraq War. It is definitely a very interesting and usually ignored subject matter in the West.

Interesado en el mundo de la aviación desde hace un par de años, me apetecía leer sobre el famoso avión francés. Buscando información sobre él llegue hasta este libro que me sorprendió bastante.Es increíble el detalle gráfico de los aviones, en todas sus versiones, ya que se acompañan con modelos 3D y fotografías reales, lo cual te permite saber perfectamente como era el avión en realidad.También me gustaría destacar el trabajo de investigación que ha tenido que llevar a cabo el autor, ya que desglosa tanto el desarrollo como el uso de los aviones desde principios de los 80s hasta principio de 2000s.Además, el detalle que usa para la descripción de las misiones es muy alto, por lo que también se pueden ver las rutas que siguieron, los mecanismos de abastecimiento de combustible en vuelo...Recomiendo a todo el mundo que le interese el mundo de la aviación o del Mirage en particular este libro, ya que no defraudará porque siempre aprenderás alguno nuevo gracias a él.

A great book: a detailed history of the IQAF mirages 1981-2003, with rare input from Iraqi pilots & a number of interesting photos. A must read for every military aviation history enthusiasts!
