I thought of the description it was going to be like a bicycle seat and spongy. This is a piece of black foam, I am not using it at all.

Working great
I was having trouble with butt pain after 45 minutes in the boat. This pad has solved the problem. It needed trimmed to fit the Carl Douglas seat, but that only took a few minutes.

The description needs to be fixed. It says it comes with or without double backed tape. It comes without any type of adhesive for attaching.

Disappointed.
Received the seat pad in the mail in a timely manner (this is where the good things about this seat pad end). Tried it in the boat a few weeks, but I did not notice a difference. I am still just as uncomfortable in the boat as I was before making this purchase. The seat pad is very thin and not very flexible, which makes it challenging to get to the dock. After using it a few weeks I ordered a different seat pad to use in the boat.This might be ok for an erg if you only want light padding.
