The staff gauge is easily readable and durable. The fiberglass construction holds up well in our application which includes ice on the water surface. We have used several of these in differing locations over the years with little or no problems. Delivery time frame was excellent (about 2 days) and the price was competitive.

I just mounted this on a wooden water control structure (rice trunk) in one of our many large saltwater impoundments. Installation was a breeze with the included screws. The gauge is quite visible and easy to read, I like the thickness too.........it should last a long time.

I mounted this to the front of my boat dock to monitor the lake's level. I didn't give it 5 stars because it measures in tenths of a foot instead of inches, which is odd.

I wanted to use this on my dock to show the level of the water in my lake. The gauge is cutoff right at the 4' mark and the 8' mark which I think looks bad. I know they did this to add on their other gauges but it would have been nice to have another few inches added on to show the full number 8 at the top of the gauge. If a person wanted to add another gauge then they could just overlap or cut the gauge to make it work. I have included a photo to show what i'm describing. Also, even though it is stated in the title, the gauge is in tenths of an inch.

The picture shown in the description is the easy read scale. The gauge sent is different than the description and is not the easy read version. The gauge sent will work, but it is not the same as represented by the seller. Seller would have gotten five stars had they represented the product correctly.

Nicely constructed. Easy to read. I put this on a dock piling and it is a perfect indicator of water depth.
