This is a wonderfully juicy, highly pigmented paint with exactly the properties that are stated on the tube. Single pigment PR061 (as are most from this manufacturer), with minimal synthetic binders (largely gum arabic and honey) and the small particle size of pyrole pigments come together to make a transparent and consistent wash with a high value range and lovely dispersion when working wet on wet. In mass tone this paint is vibrant and bold, there is little loss of vibrancy on the dry down and it mixes BEAUTIFULLY with other pigments to find a multitude of other colors to use in your color playing. Highly recommend this color for it's properties and this brand for it's quality. As I need to replenish my colors I will search the MaimeriBlu site as quickly as I do the M. Graham, Isaro and Greenleaf and Blueberry.

My favorite watercolor paint by far! Highly pigmented so they last long making them a good value. As this is a hobby, I've explored many brands.
