KotobukiHeart and Star Rice Mold Set

I ordered these a few months back and just used them for the first time yesterday, and they work amazing! I use sticky rice, so the shape has held up amazingly. I cooked my rice up yesterday morning, placed it in the mold with a bit of pressure to help is cake better and let it stand in the fridge until cool. ( put the rice it when still hot to very warm) It has been sitting in my bento box since about noon yesterday for my lunch today and the shape has stayed intact and perfect.It also comes with a little tab on the bottom so you can get the rice out easier. I tap the mold a little bit on to the surface and press the tab gently, and viola! pops out smooth and intact.

It's okay for the price.I gave it a 3-star because to make tight rice molds, the cover needs to be able to press into the mold instead of just sitting on top of the mold.

The design of these is sort of flawed. When you press on the tab to release the rice, the rice becomes deformed, even if it is fairly sticky. Only will work with super sticky rice.

i use these all the time when i have people over. they are fast and easy to use.

These molds are really cute and are definitely a fun way to make your food. My rice does mold to the shape and I love eating it more than without a shape. I don't think that I really have any criticisms for this product as it basically does what it is supposed to do.

these are pretty good. my daughter enjoys them, they are easy to clean. item as described.

It's just o.k. It is a little pricy.

These rice ball molds are easy to use. You have to use a short grain sticky rice (while it's still warm!) and pack it full. These also make it easy if you want to make rice balls with filling! I really like using tuna with mayo as a filling!
