SwimTechPool Socks -DS

No idea where Fran was to post a 5 star review saying these were strongly anti slip as they made bambi on ice look like 4 wheel drive. Never before have I felt so unsafe in the water and ended up taking them off while doing water aerobics. I bought 2 pairs of these and both of us felt the same. Horrible horrible horrible. In case I have not been clear I had more grip in my bare feet than I had in these.

I can confirm that they're very slippery. In fact on the packaging it says they're not designed to provide better grip but rather to protect against infection. For that later purpose I think they serve well. They feel a bit loose and I thought they would slip off while I was swimming, but that's not happening, they're quite comfortable to swim in. I don't know how durable they are as I've only used them twice, but so far so good.

I wore these for the first time today during an aquafit session at the local pool and I'm very pleased with them. They fit well and are very light on the feet so you don't feel like you're wearing anything. They have grips on the bottom but I still found them a bit slippy when exercising but not as much as when barefooted. Overall pleased with them and hopefully feet are more protected from infection when using the pool which is why I bought them

Purchased these for myself and my daughter for the waterpark and beach in the Algarve. We find the ground surfaces really rough on our feet and these did help a bit and useful for down at the beach aswell as it was quite shelly and rough in bits. These did help a little, would absolutely use again. Would have preferred more choices of colour.

Bought these for use in my son's PE class as he has a verucca and was told to cover it with a verucca sock. The rubber grips fell off during the first use. In fairness, we didnt use them for swimming, so they may be fine for that.

Bought these for verruca prevention... they do the job! Also fantastically comfortable and they dry extremely quickly. Only downside is while in the pool there is no traction - so it’s slippery underfoot... however when walking poolside they work a treat. Would definitely recommend if you’re a regular swimmer.

I thought pool socks would be suitable for use in and around the pool, I think I got it wrong. They did not grip and I slipped twice the first time I tried them. Size seemed fine.

Not safe for Aqua Aerobics - very slippery.Thin slip on sockets, felt comfortable- ok on pool edge but no grip on the bottom of the pool. Can only imagine they were designed to swim in only.
