Can anyone suggest a slightly thinner plastic washer? The 0.16" thickness has proved impossible to install (smittybilt xrc2). Need closer to 0.1"

do these lock? like so noone can steal them?

No they do not have a locking mechanism. You could wire the pin to the shackle which would make them harder to steal, but no lock.

Do you have to have a bumper to use these? I want to put them on the front of my Tacoma but I don’t have one of those big bumpers

Hi,there, How are you! Our standard product has an aperture of 0.95 inches on one side and a screw aperture of 0.78 inches on the other side, the diameter of the screw pin is 7/8 inches. These are standard size shackles, should fit just about everything. Just measure your mount hole... Needs to be just larger than the 7/8" screw pin. So It doesn't have to be mounted on a bumper.
