The Essential Kenny G

I ordered the cd once which was said to be new but when it arrived one of the cds as I was trying to take it out,it just shattered. And I got a refund. So I ordered it again and it arrived in perfect condition even though t was a used cd. I received the eu version which has the same tracks you get in every version of this beautiful collection which I would say is a must have for every kenny g fan out there. The packaging and managing of the cds could have been handled better. But if u just want to listen to some kenny g and enjoy your day,this collection will do just that.

BE AWARE!DISAPPOINTED WITH THE CD. COULD NOT TAKE THE CD FROM THE CASE, SINCE THE HOLD OF THE CENTRAL KNOBON THE CD WAS SO TIGHT, I HAVE TO BREAK ONE OF THE TENTACLES CAREFULLY. IT'S ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MONEY.THE CD IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. AFTER MANY ROUNDS OF STOP-EJECT-PLAY, IT WORKS, BUT OFTEN GETS STUCK-UP. DOES NOT PLAY LIKE A NEW CD. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH IT , AS I OPENED THE PACKAGE ONLY AFTER A MONTH. I dont know what to do with the CD.kindly refund the amount

The product is great and the tracks are awesome. Kenny G is truly a legend.However, the CDs hold on tightly to the tentacles of the central knob. When I tried removing the CDs by applying a bit of force, I ended up cracking one of them :(

Delivered in a broken cd container box. However, it's a classic collection of the Maestro.

Decent quality. Collection of music is good. Just the order on CD not good. Good music play much better. Ok ones have been put ahead in list.

Earlier was recording CD of Kenny G from friends , but having this original CD is another experience. Am glad and overwhelm.

KENNY G IS KENNY G

I have long been an admirer of Kenny G's work, but not known the best way of getting a good "best of" collection. Having liked him since the early "Duotones" days, many collections emphasise the "hit" ballads, but in so doing miss the earlier more funky stuff. This comprehensive 2 CD collection (currently a bargain £4.99) does the trick as it has the room to cover the full expanse of Kenny G. It starts with the early stuff, so you get the funky "Sade", "Slip Of The Tongue" and "Against Doctor's Orders", which all give a great introduction. Across the set, you also get a wonderful selection of guest vocal tracks (Lenny Williams on "Don't Make Me Wait For Love", Ellis Hall on "What Does It Take", Smokey Robinson on "We've Saved The Best For Last", and Peabo Bryson on "By The Time This Night Is Over" - and that is just disc 1), and, of course, some great, relaxing ballads ("Songbird". "Silhouette", "Forever In Love" and "Morning"). What really made the set attractive to me, though, was its comprehensive nature means that disc 2 comes up to date enough to include tracks from the great "At Last...The Duets" album, and also includes what are the very best tracks - a great version of "Pick Up The Pieces" with David Sanborn, a fantastic reading of "Beautiful" with Chaka Khan, and "The Way You Move" with EWF. This means that the quality (and variety) continues right through both CDs. I bought this CD hoping to like it, but have ended up totally loving it. Great, relaxing, smooth R&B/Jazz. Highly Recommended.

If you like Kenny G this is great, if you don't like Kenny G this is probably not for you!
