OK, maybe not a crowd, but this is one of the few beard oils that both I and my wife like. No, she's not the bearded lady, but she appreciates when my beard doesn't look like I'm a pirate out to sea too long. The problem with most of the other beard oils is that they have a heavy woodsy scent and my wife doesn't like that. This has a scent that both my wife and I like. Another plus is that this oil is substantial enough to smooth and soothe my rather large beard. I find that a lot of other products will either cause my skin to break out or will flake later in the day after they've dried and definitely not the case with this oil. It keeps my beard soft most of the day and prevents skin issues common with a dry beard. Definitely recommend this oil and have stocked up myself with several bottles.

Lots of folks mentioning thickness of the product and the difficult time pumping it out of the bottle. I had the same issue initially too, but you have to let it acclimate to room temperature and then it should come out of the bottle as expected. If in a hurry you can run hot water along the bottom and sides of the bottle to warm up the lotion on the inside. Also do not push the pump all the way down, only need to pump a little and plenty should dispense out for working into the beard.

I read so much about Prophet being a great moisturizer for beards and hoped the hype was real. Sadly, it is not for their Premium Beard Oil Lotion and I do not recommend this product. From the first pump I knew this was not for me. The first thing that hit me was the scent. It smells like chemicals they use in a hair salon to perm hair. Nothing appealing about it and it does not fade away causing me to have a headache from having to breathe it all day. And instead of making my beard feel soft and moisturized, it made it brittle and dry. I suspect this product is little more than salon hair setting solution repurchased for sale as a beard moisturizer.

Prophet is the best brand of Beard products I have ever used. I typically use the beard oil. However, I tried the lotion with my last purchase and had to get it again. I love that there is no smell to it. Gives your beard that nice clean shine. I have been using Prophet products for about a year and a half now. Haven't used anything else since I first purchased the beard oil.

Love this stuff, love the scent and the fact that its a little thicker than plain old beard oil.

It is not an oil is it a paste, I use it when I need to moisture my beard all day unlike regular beard oils that will last for 5-6 hours, this one will last much more longer.

Works well, and smells great.

This is a quality Beard Oil In handy dispenser for ease of use. It helps to keep the beard from becoming brittle however, the oil does not absorb quickly and leaves an oily residue which is a pity. Hence only four stars.

Great product, I’m Afro Caribbean and this holds me for the day, for best result add after shower then comb and brush through. This is my second bottle,P.S it does become hard so keep in a warm place.

Product seemed fine if you could get it out of the dispenser, threw it away after a couple of days not worth the aggro.

Product came and says clearly on the box "product contains nuts" - yet in the title says "nut free". Very misleading and confusing. Disappointed.
