Durable and lighter
I waited to write this review until I had a chance to really use it. My dog is a frisbee NUT. She loves going out and playing catch’s being a GSD she has a serious bite. As you can see. Her favorite frisbee was the aerobie. It’s lighter with a soft edge, flies well, has a special shaped lil making ieasier for her to pick up, and it’s durable without being heavy and hurting her mouth. But as you can see over time she puts a serious hurting on it. I’ve had to heat it up and put it back in shape. Other dog frisbees that are soft are usually heavy and don’t fly well. I saw the dog version of her aerobic and thought I’d try it. Total game change. I’m not saying it will be invincible but I’ve taken it to the park with her at least a dozen times and it’s held up amazingly well in contrast to the original. The original in the picture probably has been used twice as much as the green dog vs shown. She has caught it and chewed it at least a hundred times with no break or tear yet and she has land shark teeth. You can see the puncture marks but appears self healing. It’s a little smaller than the original which is good keeps the weight low. Same shape so it flies well and is easy for her to pick up. The material is easier to wash off. While yes maybe a little pricey compared to the competition it makes up for it in durability and quality. So you are actually SAVING money. I even bought a second one to have on hand should it break. Buts it’s shown no serious signs of slowing down yet. I feel like I’ve gotten my moneys worth and then some. Most importantly Lilo LOVES!!! I’m not a fan of five star review but I feel this frisbee has earned it. 5/20/2023- UPDATE- TLDR- 10-12 more trips to the park still 5 out of 5. The last pics are the most recent. After another 10-12 trips to the park. I have 2 so this gets used every other day. She puts it through its paces and it’s held up amazingly. No tears or rips. Maintains its shape and flies as well as the first day I bought it. You can see the bite marks but that’s the worse of it. My son threw one deep in the bushes so it’s the gators now. So I bout two more because I saw they were getting low. Not sure why this thing has lasted a while. You can never be to safe.

Excellent frisbee for dog
Updated: See my review below for my initial thoughts on this toy. Seems I owe Ray Masel an apology. If it doesn't fly, you're not throwing it right. Sorry Ray. Out of the 3 different Frisbees I bought, my younger black Labrador much preferred to play with this one. So much so, that I persevered with it for several days and tried a few different throwing techniques. Well, yesterday I found a way to really make this thing fly and this morning in the paddock with just a light breeze it was rocketing out to about 40 to 50 yards with ease and floating down flat for the dog to leap up and catch it. By far her most favorite Frisbee. Now more loved than her old hard plastic Frisbee. She runs and runs all day chasing this one now that I can make it fly well enough for her to catch. PREVIOUSLY I WROTE: I had high hopes for this disc as it is endorsed by Ray Masel, former US Frisbee Dog Champion. Not sure what Ray was throwing but it wasn't the same as the one I had delivered. I bought 3 discs to try out (the other 2 being West Paw Zisc and Starmark Easy Glide) and the Aerobie is definitely the best flying of the 3. However, that's not saying much as this one doesn't float/hover all that well. It certainly goes the distance and looks as though it will last for some time, but if it doesn't hover like a Frisbee, it might as well be a stick. My dog loves to catch the Frisbee, she lives for it, and while she will chase and retrieve this disc, it doesn't excite her anywhere near as much as her chewed up old hard plastic Frisbee that actually still flies better than this disc. In the pics: the green one and the blue one (with the big chink out) are both Dogobie's. They still fly well enough even with the chunks out. The green one is 2 years old, the blue one about a year old. The chewed bits are my fault as I left her alone to chew them. They still took quite a bit of chewing to get to that stage. The blue one full of teeth marks got that way in just a few minutes of play and were the result of catching it in her teeth, NOT chewing it. This is the Easy Glider. The orange one is the West Paw and it gets very little use. We pull it out on really windy days as it's so heavy it doesn't get blown away, but other than that, it just sits in the garage. It's been chewed extensively and has no signs of any damage yet though, so a big plus if your dog like to chew rather than chase.

Quality Product, but it sinks
To be fair, nowhere in the description does it say it floats. Bad on me for assuming it does, like it's "human" disc counterpart, which my dog adores but is hard on the teeth. She loves this disc as much as her normal Aerobie. She'll carry it everywhere if we allow it. So far, it seems quite durable, unlike anything made of fabric that has sewing holding it together. It doesn't fly anything like a human-rated Aerobie, but no soft dog disc does. A disc needs to be pretty rigid to do so, and soft rubber or fabric discs just don't work as well. But she loves it, catches it, and no more frightening "clunk" in the jaws like the harder discs. It's a good product.

Good for catch and kids too
I have a love for flying discs, having a history with lots of catch as well as ultimate and disc golf. I don't know what inspired me to try this, but I've had one for almost two years now. What makes me love it most is that it flies wonderfully, with good glide and control. It is far from "flippy." I'm able to throw it in all the ways I would throw any other disc. It doesn't go quite as far as some catch discs (Ultrastars or Aerobie rings), but it's perfect for some situations. The plastic is one of its strengths. I have children, and its softness means they won't harm either themselves or people/objects they hit. This is a disc we've begun to carry with us on all kinds of trips, whether to a beach, park, or a hike. Though soft, it maintains its shape just fine and has done well through decent use. Oh yeah... I'm sure it's great for dogs too. Later addition: I notice that many negative reviews condemn the disc's durability. Again, my discs don't have doggy teeth to contend with, but the plastic doesn't seem particularly weak or vulnerable to that kind of stress. Perhaps some of these come out weaker than others (yes, injectable plastic molding isn't a perfect process), but I have had two, purchased 1-2 years apart, and they feel identical. (They were blue, in case you're wondering.)

Best frisbee toy out there. Period.
Hands down best frisbee toy I've tried... and I've bought a TON of them trying to find the right one. You can throw it hard, soft, whatever, it flies great with tons of hang time. Don't waste your money on anything else.

Dogobie Sinks Squidgie Floats
I bought the 3 pack Dogobie set and a single Squidgie for comparison. The discs look nearly identical. My lab Reagan and I took a Dogobie to the dog park. The first Dogobie flew great for the first 4 throws. The flight was a nice pace and distance for Reagan and it was easy to throw. He caught 3 out of 4 in the air and I was thinking great disc. After the 4th throw Reagan ran over to the irrigation ditch with the disc in his mouth to cool off. He came back a few minutes later soaking wet without it. I looked for the disc for 15 minutes and could not find it. I wasn't sure if it floated away in the current, sunk into the mud, or was hiding in the tall grass. I told Reagan to find his toy. He repeatedly stuck his head into the muddy water and came up empty. He never once looked around in the grass but did search with me downstream. Knowing there were two more at home I gave up and we played fetch with his ball instead. The next day I gave Reagan the second Dogobie at the house. He took it out into the backyard and had it unsupervised for about 3 minutes. When I went out to look the disc was missing a 2 inch triangle chunk out of the edge that he had chewed off. I tried to throw it and it still flew just fine so again we took it to the dog park. Again the disc flew great and was soft and easy to catch. Reagan again took off for the water after 6 or 8 throws to cool off. This time he disappeared over the berm at the pond. Again he came back soaking wet without the disc. After further investigation again I could not find it. This time there was no current and no tall grass. When asked to find his toy Reagan again stuck his head under water but came up empty. This time I was sure it was on the bottom of the pond in the mud although I could not see it. Again we played fetch with his ball instead. I came home, filled the sink with water, and conducted an experiment with the last Dogobie and the Squidgie. It was confirmed that the Dogobie sinks and the Squidgie floats. The Amazon descriptions say that both the Dogobie and the Squidgie discs float. The packaging on the Squidgie says that it floats but the packaging on the Dogobie says nothing about water. The Amazon description of the Dogobie is false. I am assuming that the Dogobie is made to be thicker, heavier, or out of a different material so that it is more durable. This was a waste of time as it did not hold up to any amount of chewing at all at least from Reagan. Both discs fly great. My advice is to buy the Squidgie if you are going to be around any water. Don't leave your dog unsupervised or allow him to chew either disc. As for us Reagan and I are going back to the Flying Squirrells from Chuckit.

Love these frisbees
My dog loves these. They are good for his mouth. He has had hard frisbees in the past he doesn’t care. He will keep playing, even if he’s bleeding. We would have to stop play time. I love how soft the material is for his mouth. We had it for a while now. It’s torn now, after 2 years. I can throw it just fine. My husband has a difficult time. It’s okay, I have a hard time throwing other frisbees myself. Not this one though. I hope they continue to sell them. These are the only ones we are going to continue buying.

Almost the perfect dog frisbee, if only it flew better...
I like just about everything about this disc except one flight characteristic. It will always turn left for a right handed thrower and right for a left handed thrower; not drastically so, but enough to be annoying and have to be accounted for when throwing. It does fly well in the since that it 'hangs' in the air well giving your dog time to chase it down and snatch it mid-air. The material it is made of is excellent. My 55lb Aussie is not gentle on discs and these hold up just about as well as Jawz discs despite being much thinner/lighter. The material is also soft enough so that you don't have to worry about hurting your dog. It's also pretty light so it doesn't have much force if your dog likes to catch a disc thrown towards them. One slightly annoying thing is that the ridge on the top of the disc hurts the thumb on my throwing hand. Compared to other discs: Hyperflite Jawz - Slightly firmer material, larger and heavier than dogobie. The best disc on the market if your dog can tolerate its weight/size/material. It flies exactly as a quality 'normal' frisbee does; if thrown level it will stay level for its entire flight and 'floats' through the air very well. I can easily throw it accurately over 50 meters yet it still can be thrown short distances with good 'float'. Weight also makes it fly better in windy conditions. If the dogobie flew as well as this disc I would probably switch to over to it completely; unfortunately the dogobie will always turn. Aerobie Squidgee - Softer than the dogobie with almost the exact same flight; they only differ in material so that shouldn't be a surprise. Too soft for my dog as she punctured/tore it during our first use. Will still fly well with some damage; I got about 10 solid frisbee sessions out of this disc. Wouldn't recommend for an experienced dog but would be great intro disc because it's so soft and forgiving. Your dog could miss catching it, the disc hit them in the face and it wouldn't hurt them at all. Flippy Flopper - A fabric disc supported by a rubber ring. These fly pretty well in regards to staying level and not turning. The don't 'float' as well during flight and tend to parachute down. They give your dog plenty of time to get under them. One problem that I've found with all fabric discs is that their flight characteristics change both with age AND during a given session due to my dog drenching them in slobber. When brand new the fabric is soft and pliable and they fly great. As they get 'slobber logged' they don't hang as well in the air. As they age the fabric gets stiffer and stiffer even if you wash them after every session. Being a pretty thin fabric means my dog also can shred one pretty darn quickly, getting about a week's worth of time out of each. Chuckit Paraflight - Can't flight straight whatsoever; will always turn dramatically. Not worth the frustration. Chuckit Flying Squirrel (medium) - This is actually a really fun 'disc' for my dog. This disc likes to start level and then rise before trailing off right or left. The problem I've found is that every disc flies differently. Some rise much faster than others, some turn quicker, etc. I actually make marks on the ones I have so I know each discs' characteristics. Also being fabric these flight characteristics change over time and based on how 'slobber logged' they become. I still like/use these so that I can change things up for my dog. The material is a good deal stronger than the fabric of the flippy flopper.

Durables, ils volent super bien.

Fantastic frisbee
These frisbees are the best for your dog, for fun and exercise. If you throw them by snapping your wrist inwards instead of outwards, they will easily fly a couple hundred feet. My dog absolutely LOVED these frisbees, to the point where he actually fell asleep with a frisbee in his mouth on many occasions. I wish I could still throw it for him, but he went over the Rainbow Bridge in October. I miss my good boy and seeing how happy he was with his frisbee. I hope whoever reads this review enjoys throwing this amazing frisbee for their pupper as much as I did.
