Cardon Moisturizing Anti-Aging Gel, Hydro Boost Gel, Korean Skin Care Face Cream Ultra Light to Unify Skin Tone Overnight Healing Cactus Extract

My husband has oily skin. He has his whole life as far as I know (we're almost 50 and I've known him since we were 12). When we were young he had acne and his skin got pretty shiny. He's always washed his face, but has always been reluctant to use any sort of moisturizer at night because he says 1) he doesn't need it and 2) he's afraid it'll make him greasy and/or break out. As we're getting older, I'm thinking it wouldn't hurt him to take a little care of his skin (he does use sunscreen). I got this because it specifically says it won't clog pores and that it's repairing. He doesn't have acne scars, but he does have scars on his forehead from cancer surgeries, and he has some enlarged pores and a few dark spots. He started using this reluctantly, but agreed because I asked. We're only a week in, so I can't say whether or not it's helping with the scars. But his skin is softer, and I actually think he's less oily than without this. He's coming around to the idea that even oily skin can benefit from the right moisturizer. The cost of this Cardon anti-aging moisturizing gel is a bit high, but very little is needed to cover the face, so I expect this will last well over a month, maybe even a couple of months. I always have a difficult time estimating when the bottle isn't translucent. The packaging on this is nice, and it looks good on his nightstand.

Update: It has been a few days and though I still really like this I want to love it and can't. I have a small dry spot on my face which isn't very common for me. It doesn't feel hydrating enough for me. I do think this is great and like the way it makes my skin feel but I would recommend putting this on first, waiting for it to dry and then adding another moisturizer on top of this if you are more on the dry side. Original: I believe this product is for men but I don’t care. It doesn’t have a smell and feels so amazing. It is lightweight. I put this on my face and didn’t think much of it, I used lotion daily of my face and the texture doesn’t change much between soaking in right away or thick lotion. After a while I laid down and I just rested my head on my hand. Oh my gosh, my skin felt amazing, it was so soft! I was blown away. It felt like I don’t even know hot to explain it but just so great. It’s never felt like this after just some moisturizer. I highly recommend it and especially for the price. It comes with two and I think it’s an amazing deal. No reaction to it or anything. I’m just a weirdo who now touches her face a lot because I like wondering how long my face will feel this soft for.

If you are looking for something to add moisture into you skin and you also have sensitive skin this is going to be a great pick to replace as your daily moisturizer. I love how both of the moisturizers come packaged like a PR box where it comes in a sheik black mailer along with each of the moisturizers individually wrapped. The moisturizer comes in a pump bottle which makes it much easier to apply and keeping the cream more sanitary than a jug you dip your fingers into. I love how the moisturizer is more of a thinner liquid consistency than the thicker ones. I prefer to use this one during the day instead of the nights because it is much easier on my skin and does not look odd when I'm heading out. It absorbs quickly into my skin and does not look too shiny. I do have to admit the price point is quick higher for 2 1.7oz bottles, but if you are looking for something easy to pack and bring with you on the go and have sensitive skin give it a try.

I ordered the Cardon face moisturizer to try as a day-time hydro gel. It does not disappoint! When you unpack the moisturizer, it looks very sleek. But more than the obvious design aesthetic, I was so excited to realize that this moisturizer is fragrance-free which is really important for my sensitive skin. The gel pumps out easily and goes on very smoothly. For me, this works best as a daytime moisturizer. I have tried two different application techniques: applying and rubbing the moisturizer in all over my face and neck, as well as gently applying the moisturizer with the tips of my fingers and letting it absorb. I think the second technique works well for this hydro gel. It gives you a nice gentle glow and dries in a few minutes.
