Virtual Santa 1900 Lumen Video Projector, Virtual Santa Video on Thumb Drive and Projection Screen

Got this and put it in our front window. Cars stopped in front of our house to watch. However, the white cloth that came with it was way to small to fit on the window so I had to use a white sheet. I'm going to by some scim fabric to put between the window and sheet for next year. Hopefully it will make the image clearer. But for the price, all material needed, should have with the projector. That's why the less than perfect rating.

I believe I have made it very clear that I am not happy about this purchase and do not plan to do business with you people again.

Everything I expected.....Kids are going to love it.

I could not see anything from 10 feet away. The projector is garbage, vary dark even after adjustments. don't buy it.

It's just not bright enough to show up from any distance. I have a lot of lights in the front yard and unless it is in a part of the show where they are low or the clear icicle lights are off you cannot see this from any distance. Even then it is not great. It is a very cheap projector but I expected it to be a cheap one at this price. But I think it is cheap even for this price. It failed to meet my limited expectations. I'm just going to buy a good quality projector with a lot more lumens next year. The material was way too small for the 6'x5' I wanted to put it in but they did not offer anything bigger in one piece. Nonetheless I tried it in addition to a sheer white shower curtain and I could not see a big difference with either material in image clarity or brightness. The skimpy little printed pamphlet that comes with it is written in some VERY bad Chinese English but most things are simple. The menu structure for playing items on the flash drive is not great. I felt it awkward although it was workable in its very limited way. It seems some things can only be done using the remote control (like adjusting the zoom level). So if you ever lose it the utility goes down a good deal. I will say it is offered here on Amazon for a slightly better deal. I bought direct from the vendor before seeing this on Amazon with the free tripod and free shipping so I paid shipping and did notget the tripod. I already had a tripod but a spare might have been handy. I also ordered the DVD version but received the flash drive version which was actually probably better though since the unit has a built in usb port and this is less hassle to use. I'll probably buy from the vendor again because they have some other products that I think are of better quality. This is just not one of them for me. For the money I spent here I felt I would have done better just buying another light-o-rama controller.edit - I was able to up the clarity and visibility of the projector with some more effort. I decided to try other projection mater in lieu of what came with it and bought a $5 plastic medium weight frosted shower curtain. That worked much better. The projector beam is not visible through it like it was with the provided material and with a similar light fabric shower liner I had tried. In the end for best effect I also mounted it on the outside of my window. That required I remove the outdoor lights on that window, put up a bunch of command strips on the window frame (I probably used 20 - It comes with 4) and punch the curtain on those then reinstall the lights over that. This helps a great deal because it eliminates the reflections of my other lights and helps the projection overcome it's lack of brightness. It looks pretty good now in the end. It just took a lot more manipulating than I anticipated. In the end I had tried 4 different materials for projection and tried a variety of vertical and horizontal placements of the projector. Due to how much trouble it was to make things visible I'm keeping the same number of stars for the review. I also have to agree with some of the other reviewers about the Santa video in that he spends too much time off screen leaving it basically blank but for a candlestick for my tastes. But I'm also using a DVD player to put up some Christmas movies and those work well on it.

Do not buy

All the kids in the neighborhood loved it, they were so jealous that santa always visited my house. It brought a great thrill to everyone who passed by!!! It wasso easy to set up.

Everyone in the neighborhood thought this was the coolest thing they'd ever seen. We had kids constantly asking their parents if it was really Santa, he looks incredibly lifelike!
