This foil cutter has the most creative and unique shape of any I've seen before, and quite simply, it WORKS. The four cutting wheels are sharp enough to cut through the foil with little pressure, the shape is comfortable to use, and it seems sturdy enough to last a long time. The fact that the shape is designed to hold a cork is another bonus that makes this cutter stand out from the crowd. From what I can see, this is the best quality foil cutter you can get for the price range. It won't change your life, but it will make it a heckuva lot easier to open your wine! :)

I've used a LOT of foil cutters, most of which were not very good. This one is a great design - no hinges to break, four blades to cut the foil. The trick with this cutter is to place the cutter at the lip of the bottle, then squeeze GENTLY and rotate no more than a half turn. The foil comes off neatly. A bonus is the cool design that lets you rest the cork once it is pulled from the bottle. Simple, effective, elegant product.

I puchased this for my company's tasting room, so we use it a lot. It fits nicely in the hand, and gives nice and even cuts. However, it does not fit every bottle shape. Our bottles are a bit thicker, so placing the foil cutter on top is a little tricky. It wants to cut lower than where our bottles are designed to cut at. But I do love that this is safe and easy once it is placed properly.

I love to cook, and I especially enjoy cooking with wine. Cooking is one of a handful of things you can do that appeals to all the senses. This is where the visual aspect enters the picture! There appears to be a malfunction within my make up that renders me incapable of opening a bottle of wine without the foil looking like a rabid, wild animal gnawed it off. Its the same malfunction, I assume, that makes every cereal box I open look like an elephant sat in it. O_o I had this little gadget sitting in my "buy later" for quite sometime. I figured if I was incapable of a good cut with a sharp kitchen knife, this probally wouldnt be much better. It is! This is a nifty, helpful item that makes a perfect cut in one simple motion, everytime. Im glad I purchased it. Recommend:)

Basic and easy to use. We had a previous one for about 10 years before replacing. This works great and easy to store in drawer.

This is the most disappointing purchase I've made from Amazon. They claim that you can open a bottle of wine with a 90° turn.They must have left off a zero because if you can get the foil off of a bottle of wine with a 90° turn, you are a better person than I. I turn this thing five times and the foil just barely pulls away. I have to dig at it with my fingernails to pry it off the bottle. Maybe this is a type of product that cannot be made effectively by any means, but this surely is a terrible product for what it claims to do. To be clear, I don't care about their 90° claim. I would be content if two 360° turns would release the foil. But that never happens. I've opened many bottles of wine with this product and it is not good.

I liked this easy way this opens the foil around the bottle~ I received this as a gift with a Rabbit Wine Opener set. Another gift also had a foil cutter inside, but it wasn't nearly as good:( I returned the other one. This foil cutter made entertaining that much safer, as I used to cut the foil with a knife, and quite a few times I the knife slipped & almost cut me! So happy to have this one!
