"There are no mistakes, just happy little accidents." Sage words of wisdom from the one and only Bob Ross. These crew socks feature the trademark "Happy Tree" slogan along with his famous likeness and an evergreen for good measure. While these socks aren't a masterpiece of design, they are kitchey fun that fans of the master oil painter should appreciate. They come in a variety of color schemes, but I like the yellow, brown, and green of this one. They fit my 14-year-old daughter just right, and she loves them. I find it funny that Bob Ross was a joke to many when I was growing up, but now he has now evolved into an icon. The current generation embraces Bob and his easy-going attitude. I always liked him as was awed by his ability to create a landscape seemingly out of thin air in under an hour. The former drill instructor's mild demeanor and facility with a brush was always a pleasure to experience. The fact that we can now wear his bushy-haired likeness on our feet blows my mind. Aesthetics aside, the socks fit comfortably and feel well made. They are a fun yet functional novelty item that carries on the legacy of everybody's favorite calm demeanored PBS oil painter. ~ Kort
