I see a photo of some one using this with their child insider the water at the same time, is it secure? I am looking for something like that

The electrical is pretty well sealed. I stick my hand in the bucket while it's running all the time. Been using it for 7 months and have not gotten zapped yet.

Is it loud when running?

I can t hear mind running once it goes into the water. Someone saw mine and borrowed it so I’m gonna order this again for myself. I hope this helps.

Can it be connected to a water hose?

No it cannot. The small pump drops into a bucket of water and draws water through the hose to the shower head.
