Gimmicky but functional.
The ratchet itself seems to be fairly decent. The telescopic part is kind of a gimmick. It doesn’t really compress enough to make it worthwhile. In its full extension form it will still fit in most tool boxes, and the “lock” isn’t very firm. (It’s kind of sloppy.)That being said, I bought it for my toolbox in my trail rig, it’s cheap and does the job. Good enough for me.

Don't buy
Probably the worst thing I have bought. It is trash. I only used it four times then the inside broke. Very upset that I purchased this. Even just trying to break a plug loose for my oil it didn't want to work.

Extension handle fell off , spring came out 2 separate tools
Ordered two. Both fell apart working week - 2 weeks of use. Spring fell out for extending end. Really wanted this to be good, needed it. If the quality of design to keep the extending part from failing was fixed I’d definitely recommend. But the flimsy-ness of the 2 received definitely disappoints.
