i'm looking for a kilt that can be washed not dry clean wool. How about this?

This is not a kilt, it is a costume. It's very thin, light-weight, and machine washable. It's also about 6 in shorter than a standard kilt. It won't last very long if you plan to wear regularly because it is a costume.

I am looking for men shorts(skirt) for ventilation purpose because in summer it just gets too sweaty. Is this right item for me?

No. This is a very cheaply made costume bottom. Very short, sheer and poor quality. I would look into short to medium length seersucker or linen shorts.

How well do the lines / plaid show up? The picture shows them being much thinner than Piper's actual kilt.

This Kilt does Piper proud may he rest in peace. He would have kicked that murderer Jimmy Fly Snucka in the butt.

i don't know in inches but my boyfriend is 5'7" and itsfalls just on the knee so a little longer than on the picture
