This bottle I bought to put a scant teaspoon into my home made ice cream to keep it from forming ice crystals after storing in the freezer. I just bought a Cuisinart Ice Cream Machine and followed a simple recipe for chocolate ice cream, but I wanted to make sure that it would not become hard and full of ice crystals once I stored it in the freezer, so I did some research online and glycerin is one of several ways to keep ice cream creamy. It only takes a teaspoon in the recipe and the other thing about glycerin is that it is sweet, so it blends in well with an ice cream recipe. My ice cream turned out great and it is smooth and creamy after being in the freezer. Now, this is not my first use of glycerin as I have used a small amount in water to spray in my hair. Especially on really humid days when my naturally curly hair turns into a frizz-ball, spraying my hair with a 10 parts water, 1 part glycerin (or even less glycerin, depending) keeps my hair from frizzing out so bad. For me, in ice cream or in my hair, glycerin works great!

People who vape have long known that food grade Vegetable Glycerin is what is used to make vape juice. After reading the reviews, I got a bottle of this stuff and made a batch of mint berry vape juice. It did not disappoint. Very neutral flavor and produces big clouds.

This is a needed ingredient for homemade ice cream. It works very well to keep it soft and scoopable. I have been using 2 T per quart along with Guar gum to keep the ice cream soft. Unfortunately I find it expensive and will be looking for a cheaper brand.

Glycerin is a humectant, and people whose hair gets very dry like mine can benefit from using just a tiny amount to draw in the moisture from the air into your hair to keep it moisturized. Just be careful with how often you put it into your hair as it can cause buildup. I don't use this product for any other reason.

Purchased for use in my Ninja Creami recipes. It thickens well but I wish I had known there are a lot of carbs in this product.

Great for my diy

The product is OK, but the plastic bottle was shipped in a soft side envelope, so the product became damaged & leaked all over everything. What a mess! Now they want me to ship a messy bottle back for a replacement.
