SpruKits Halo The Master Chief Action Figure Model Kit, Level 3

I'm an intermediate gunpla builder. I recently came across the knowledge that Bandai was releasing Sprukits for Master Chief, and seeing as my next kit is still on pre-release, I went and bought the Level 3 kit for myself. The figure is pretty easy to build. The age description of 8+ is accurate, and it can be built with just a pair of clippers. Build time for me with detailing is about two hours, and should be the same for anyone who knows how to model. The model is VERY flexible for a kit of its type (uses a lot of ball joints), with plenty of accessories in the form of a Battle Rifle, an Assault Rifle, and two Magnums. The hands are a weak point. There are 5 hands: two for holding guns, a hand for holding the assault rifle handguard, and two poorly modeled fists. The gun-holding hands have to be disassembled to swap guns, and they are molded in such a way that they can snap in half if you apply force incorrectly. I would recommend sticking with one gun in the hand permanently. The kit has a decent amount of panel lines for you to line it, and it definitely doesn't need paint, though you can benefit from a Gundam Marker Pour Type and some rubbing alcohol if you're new to panel lining.

This was such a great product! My 8yr old son loved putting it together. There is a lot of detail in how this was made and Master Chief is very movable and can be posed in many different positions. My only complaint is the small pieces come attached to labeled templates and by the time we got ours, most of the pieces had fallen off the templates making it difficult to find what we needed. Luckily the pieces were also individually labeled so with a little searching and reading some tiny print we were able to put it together.

I will not review the figure, it is the thing of company, The packaging was good, some parts were already popped out of the spru, but it isn't a problem, and the right trigger finger hands part was broken, but it still holds very very nice and it is not about the seller, watch the reviews it is the problem of almost all model kits (the tone of the paint, and shinging is better in real life)

This is the first time that I have ever bought any model kit and I must admit that I am thoroughly pleased with this product. The parts were relatively easy to put together with the aid of excellent picture instructions. I honestly don't know how long it took me to assemble the figure but all I can say is I enjoyed the time I had putting it together and I was greatly satisfied with the results of my effort. For those considering buying this figure, be warned that it is not as robust as a standard action figure, the materials are a light plastic(it is after all a model kit). However, the level articulation in this figure exceeds that of any McFarlane or Play art kai action figure. Overall I would recommend this action figure model kit to anyone considering purchasing it.

This build was so amazing, going from building Megabloks to this was a easy transaction. The instructions was sometimes a bit hard to see, but nothing a little squinting wouldn't fix. I used my pocket knife for the stickers, but that's the only tool I used. Everything with this product works and even though it's a bit pricy, it's well worth it. If you enjoy Halo, you will defiantly enjoy this.

This was one of four kits we bought for Christmas gifts. Everything went together well EXCEPT the upper body does not attach to the lower half as it should. The socket is too large and it does not snap into place. My son was very disappointed and wants to superglue the halfs together to make them stay attached as they should. Fun for him to put together but, very disappointed that he can't display as it won't stay together.

Awesome kit. I would say it would somewhere between a High grade anf Master Grade if this was a Gundam. Good level of detail. Good articulation. Strong joints. The rifles, don't really fit right against the forearm when being held in his hand, and the hand needs to be dissembled to switch weapons. I'd say any Masterchief fan would be pleased with this figure.

An extremely well made modeling kit with detailed assembly instructions as well as being true to its word and entire model "clicks" together. Perfect if you need spartan figures as the green MC color is nicely covered with a quality plastic spray paint to generate different armor colors just incase you have an obsession with HALO or Red vs Blue.

took me a few hours to put it together (took my time and had music on) as it came together i was getting more excited and i love this! ive kept it in one position (can change it with stance, guns ect) but id rather just keep it how i have it! would definitely purchase again hope you guys make more for different marvel/video game characters!
