desertcart.co.jp: Halo Headband Tie Version - Navy Blue : Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry Review: Silicone strip directs sweat to side, beyond eyebrows and eyes; even when saturated. Only thing I can wear that keeps me from being blinded by sweat. Tying easy way to adjust. Easy to wash. Review: This is my second Halo headband. My first was purchased when I just started running and had a problem with sweat getting into my eyes. It was elastic - one size fits all. Well, that's not true of course because some find it too tight and others too loose. It did well for me and I still use it, but I wanted to try this one because it tied. This is a well-designed product that meets expectations. I does absorb sweat well, but I do sweat a lot. To keep the "extra" perspiration from running down into your eyes, there is a small rubber "gutter" inside the front part of the headband that fits closely against the forehead and directs moisture back toward the ears or holds it in place until it can be evaporated. There are times that it may leak. If you are looking down toward your feet, it is possible that you will get sweat down on your face, but other than that, this item works great. The rubber gutter sounds like it would be incomfortable, but it's not. I never even think about it. It fits great, easy to tie - slightly elastic - but very durable. I just rinse it out after a run and hang it to dry, which is does pretty quickly. Don't know how I got by without this for so long!

These take a little getting used to. There is a little rubber band inside that sits just above the eyebrows. The intention is to direct sweat away from your eyes. It actually works but is a little uncomfortable at first anyway. The beauty of this device is that it really sucks in the sweat and distributes it thru the whole band. Even the tails after the knot get wet. So not only does it keep the sweat out of my eyes but I feel cooler largely I suppose because I'm not covered in sweat but also possibly because all the sweat evaporating in the band does help to dissipate some heat. I use this not only for sports but also yard work. I love it and I might buy more just to have a few around.

I can't believe I just discovered this head band. It's great. I live in the south where it can get pretty humid. I began training for a half marathon in July, 2010, one of the hottest summers I can remember. I found these headbands in a running magazine and I was a bit skeptical. I sweat a lot and I can honestly say that this headband does what it says it can do. It pushes the sweat around your eyes and it's really absorbent. I didn't have to wipe sweat out of my eyes at all, not once! I also like that I can make it tight enough to work but lose enough so that it doesn't make my head hurt like the traditional headbands. I have 2 and I plan on getting more.
