Was a good price when I bought it. It had a fault originally in that it was stuck on a single programme but after leaving it unplugged overnight it sorted itself out. You need to be a little careful with the bags. I have some older thin ones from my old sealer which tend to stick together and make suction difficult , plus the heater overcooks the plastic which then might not seal properly. The supplied bags are perfect, though. You need to be careful with both the marinade and wet use as the unit can siphon up some of the liquids from the bag. The marinade function works well in getting flavour and liquid into meats.

Great product for the home. I had several tries before I got the hang of it. The suction could be stronger but for the price very happy overall. Grey for marinades to food, freezing foods takes much less space in fridge and freezer too and helps to keep food longer and fresher also

I have always wanted a vacuum sealer because in the home it often happens that food is left behind and we have to throw it away. I tried the product for about a week and I can seal any dish, the machine is not cumbersome and I can keep it in the kitchen even if it is rather small. It met my expectations and the design is very nice.

After 3months, and cca20 bags it gave up..The heating element not working anymore.Not happy now.

This machine has been fantastic. It is quite compact and look good but most importantly it has made trying to keep food for longer so much easier. I have employed it to keep coffee beans fresh as I buy in large quantities. It includes a large roll of bags and a few extra large ones. It seals and evacuates air perfectly and quickly every time. I look forward to using this product with meal prep in the future and long term frozen food storage.

Instructions are fairly difficult to follow but got there in the end. However there was a fault. When pressing vacuum seal the vacuum worked but the seal did. Returned it to Amazon for a refund and bought an Andrew James model instead which is excellent. Beware of Lightning Deals!

I bought two for my daughters and they are delighted with it as now they can bulk shop and save money. As they are students they can now buy a weeks supply of fresh fruits and vegetables and vacuum seal them to keep them fresh. Also they can vacuum seal pre prepared meals which saves time too

Initially bought for sous vide cooking, but have found vacuum sealing/storage to be useful for many other food purposes as well. This item was a great price on offer, and despite a fairly skimpy manual was easy to operate. Haven't used it that consistently so cannot speak to durability but I'm hoping it will hold up well.
