Animorphia

The book i recieved looked old and worn out, and the paper quality is poor , also the misprints and the gap on the double page spreads is annoying! This is my second bad experience with the coloring books published by Plume/Penguin. They are actually so bad that internet is full of complaints about their pathetic paper quality! Would never again buy from this publication.

This book is creative and kudos for the original thinking. Loved the authors imagination and his unbelievable precision in re-creating those wonderful animals. Hard to believe it's painted. The art works are popping out and livelier. This author is definitely going to go places.

Arrived quite late , but product is good at this price

Amazingly exhaustive book! Its totally inspiring that the author is so young and successful.

Gifted it to a friend. She loved it!One feedback would be to print the entire art in a single page.

Simply wonderful...Mind-blowing drawings..Excellent paper quality..I have seen many you tube videos and read many reviews.. was little sceptical about paper quality..But I am assuring you all this is awesome.I bought the Plume published US version.. it can stand my sakura koi brush pens, steadtler fibre tip pens and fineliners.. and can withstand watercolor.. minimal water..Loved it..I am going to buy all of Kerby Rosanes books..

I would say this is one of my favourite colouring books I have ever had. The pipctures are so fantastical and whimsical they look perfect when you use really vibrant colours.

The pictures are great, just like his other book, but the paper quality is soooooo poor, it isn't worth buying since the pages are double-sided. Even pencils show through. The pictures are double-page spreads so there is no way to work around the poor paper quality, and the thing I think is worst is that the artist's comment when he was informed of the poor quality for Canadian/American prints was that he thinks you should see a book in person before you buy it (good bye Amazon sales). No interest in working with his publishers to advocate for a better product. I will definitely be thinking twice before buying another book by him.

I love the artwork and was excited to finally receive this colouring book. I would have given it 5 stars but the paper isn't as heavy as that of a Basford colouring book, and isn't perforated or one sided as my "Creatures Great and Small" is. I purchased a second in the event my gel pens leak through onto the other side. I was also disappointed to find pictures such as the beautiful peacock with staples through the middle of it. I would gladly purchase and pay a bit more for a re-release with single-sided, heavier weight paper, with perforation.As the paper isn't a heavier weight, it's difficult to blend larger areas with bleeding pencils/blenders for fear of ruin the paper (as you can see). Also, with some of the images, they are across two pages a stapled middle (such as the rhino), unfortunately. I'm sure that those of us who love Kerby Rosanes artwork and colouring would have no issue with paying several dollars more for one sided pages on a heavier paper.Perhaps the artist's comments regarding this release, as noted in another review, have been taken out of context? I truly hope so as it would be disappointing to think he has absolutely no appreciation for those of us who not only like his work but anxiously awaited the release of "animorphia" and bought same.

Yo he usado bolígrafos de tinta de gel:  Color Technik - Juego de 120 bolígrafos de gel de colores diferentes, los mejores colores disponibles en Amazon, purpurina, metálico, neón y clásicos,  y aún así se marca un poco en la otra cara de la página (que también tiene ilustraciones). Recomendable usar lápices ✏️No obstante, es un libro preciosista lleno de detalles, con la figura principal tomando el protagonismo y luego muchos arabescos y doodles, que disfrutarán tanto pequeños como adultos por igual. Llegó en una caja demasiado grande para su tamaño y estaba bastante magullado, incluida la portada que es plateada y tenía unos arañazos muy feos. Lo acepté porque eran para mi hijo pequeño y acabará destrozado, pero es lamentable.Es el primer libro que compro para colorear, pero el contenido del libro es espectacular, enamora. Las ilustraciones tienen el tamaño adecuado. El papel es grueso, pero no he probado a pintar con rotuladores. Las páginas se abren sin problema para que puedas pintar por todos los rincones. La primera tapa es blanda y la final, dura. Lo mejor, son las ilustraciones, excelentes composiciones y realmente te pierdes con la cantidad de detalles que tienes para pintar. Enamorada de Rosanes
