Roll Top Bread Box (Golden Oak)

This is the 2nd time I've reviewed this item. But it is good enough to review it again. I love this bread box. It reminds me of my mother's old bread box that looks exactly the same as she had back in the 60's. This is a wonderful piece of furniture to look at sitting on my kitchen counter. The workmanship is supurb. The drawer lifts very smoothly without binding and there is plenty of room for two loafs of bread. I get may questions on where I got it and how much it costs. I'm a proud owner of an antique looking bread box. I'd recommend this bread box with great pleasure. Thanks for a quick delivery.

The breadbox is very attractive. But as a few weeks we can smell the finish. We are not sure why but it is not very pleasant.

A usefull item

I was hesitant to purchase this for my Mom because I thought it was a little pricey. But I would absolutely do it again! It is a beautiful piece that can be passed to younger generations. The size is exactly what she wanted, while many other bread boxes are much smaller in comparison. Easily 'hides' bread AND cookies AND crackers. Mom is just delighted to get her counter top under control.I would definately order other products from this seller. Just plain quality workmanship.

It has an odor to it

I received my roll top golden oak bread box yesterday and I could not be more pleased and surprised. The box completely matches the cupboards in my kitchen right down to the handle. It is the perfect size and looks like it belongs and was special made for my kitchen. It will be a treasure for years to come. It is very well made with excellent craftsmanship.

MADE IN THE U.S.A. Was really the main reason I purchased it. Really didn't need a bread box, but thought it would be great to store my prescription med's in and out of sight on my kitchen counter. "Wouldn't recommend to do this if I had children. But if you need a bread box I recommend it. Quality made and in the U.S.A !
