Made in Japan Indigo Dyeing Married Couple Carp Noren Curtain Tapestry

This Norden is so classic and the theme is inspiringly executed. They are very nicely sewn and the tabs are crisp. There's a little bow at the top of the slit. While the background is like a dark indigo blue, my fishies are more a light maroon than pink, a nice contrast to the blue. The waves they're stirring up froth with bubbles! Be aware this is printed and the back side has only a faint impression of these strong colors, so it may not be suitable for a coming and going doorway but it's perfect for my dressing room. I'm a Pisces, I love it!

It's beautiful. It's a tiny bit larger than I was expecting, but that's my fault for not measuring exactly what I wanted. The doorway I put it in wasnt the one I expected to put it in either, but it worked out perfectly. I went to Walmart and bought a tension rod and it works perfectly. Anyone who buys these and doesn't understand how to hang Japanese Noreens and marks them down as not what they expected, should just stick to regular curtains. This one is just like the one my grandparents would send from Japan. They are very traditional and authentic.

We bought this noren to use as a curtain under our bathroom counter where we removed a mini fridge. It's beautiful and striking with perfect coverage. Thick enough to be opaque. I love it!

Added a touch of Japan to my small garden

Really liked these. I put up in an extra room that the cat boxes are in. The cats go through constantly to get to the window. They stay nice and in place. I would buy again.

This is beyond beautiful. I am almost shocked at how gorgeous it is. The dye is such a deep indigo it looks almost black, but it is genuinely blue. The quality is superb.I am checking on other designs from this vendor, because I am over the moon with how beautiful this is.

I needed to replace a Japanese noren that I used as a window curtain and searched for another real Japanese, indigo-colored noren. This one fits the bill. It's made in Japan, has a nice design. So I'm satisfied.
