I love how durable an umbrella this small item is. Most small, easily packable/pocketed umbrellas sacrifice durability for lightness and compactness. This umbrella doesn't. The liner is extremely durable, the wires to hold the umbrella's shape are set up with two wires, versus the one usually seen even in big umbrellas, and it easily opens and closes without catching while doing so. The liner's durability kept me from getting splash-wet in rain. Overall, a very solid product that I was happy to purchase!

I have been using it for over 2 years, and it still works well with a couple of needle holes :(. This is the perfect SUN umbrella to prevent UV rays + protect against light to medium rain. I would not use this umbrella in heavy rain or wind. Please sell it again! I have been searching for months but canโt find anything close to this in terms of lightweight that also has an automatic-open button.

I just got back from a trip to Asia where it was incredibly hot and humid. I noticed a ton of locals walking around with umbrellas that had a black underside, and I had no idea why until I looked it up โ the black lining blocks UV rays and actually keeps you noticeably cooler. I was kicking myself for only having a thin regular umbrella the whole trip! Not anymore. I came home and found this one, and now I'm fully prepared for my next trip. It comes in so many colors, looks great, and does double duty โ blocks the sun AND handles rain. What really won me over beyond the UV protection is the size. It's so compact it fits easily in my purse, and you can even hook it onto the outside of a smaller bag. And the case it comes with? Actual a nice zippered hard case, not one of those flimsy slip covers that falls apart. That alone sets it apart. Highly recommend this for anyone traveling to hot, humid climates โ or honestly just for everyday use. Such a smart little buy!
