Put them on a new shiny chrome plate frame, and they look nice.I like that they are metal, and unlike some reviewers, I didn't have any problem threading the caps onto the brass collars. I only went finger tight with the chrome caps, because I didn't want to risk scratches. We will see if the loosen up.

Love the quality of the screws but they were too large in diameter to fit. The screw covers that have a brass or copper backing and the plated covers that thread onto the back plate are really great. I have used the plastic ones for years and these are far nicer. The head on the screws I had perviously used are taller and do not allow the crew cover cap to seat all the way down on the backplate making be worry that they will come loose and fall off. If the screws fit, I would give 5 stars.

This item is great because it's Not chintzy cheap plastic like my last license plate caps! First off, they're a nice size with a brass base and a chrome cap that screws over the base with the license plate screws concealed that are supplied with the kit. They keep them from being exposed to the elements so they don't corrode. Also, you get two different size screws to accommodate that ever vehicle you drive. And they're very attractive once installed on your chrome license plate frame. I have an Audi A5 all black and it's definitely a complement to my vehicle!

This is an excellent product. The parts are extremely well made out of high quality materials.I have had a similar products with plastic "snap-on" caps instead of these "screw-on" metal caps. The other "snap-on" caps would occasionally fall off leaving an exposed screw. The "screw-on" metal caps and brass mounting pieces make this a vastly superior product.Since these caps are metal instead of plastic, they are a smaller and more elegant solution.Highly recommended!

These look great but the screws do not fit my 2014 BMW 3 series. I had to order screws separately because the diameter was too thick on the one included but the silver screw covers look nicely finished compared to the exposed screw heads. I’m glad I bought these!

I don't often modify a review, because the product reviewed seldom changes. This review is an exception, because the manufacturer has added ABS plastic washers to the product, which avoids the significant issue with this design discussed below. Using the plastic washers prevents dissimilar metal corrosion of the aluminum cap and brass washer, fusing them together - the plastic washer is self-lubricating as well, allowing subsequent easier removal of the screw cap if necessary. Exposure to the elements is much less of an issue with plastic, and in the event the cap becomes impossible to unscrew, the ABS washer makes it much easier to simply pull off the cap with pliers. A significant design improvement - HOWEVER, I've left the review below because if you use the included metal washers, you are extremely likely to eventually find that you cannot remove the screw caps and will need to cut them off."I'll tell you why you perhaps shouldn't buy these, and it's the same reason reported here by someone else. They will look great if you have a display car, that never gets wet or endures harsh weather conditions - so 2 stars for that. However - if your car gets driven and exposed to the elements, or even a car wash, the brass washers will eventually corrode to the caps, making them impossible to remove. Your license plate will then be impossible to remove, without somehow getting the caps off, and you will likely need to do this every year when you renew your registration. I removed mine by cutting the top of the caps off with a Dremel. All 8 screws. And replacing my custom plate frames, which were destroyed in the process. The idea of screwing on the cap sounds great - more secure than a pop-on cap, but if the threaded washer loosens from the screw or sticks to the cap because of corrosion product from the cap or the washer, or both, the cap will just spin and you can't get it off - there's nothing to hold the washer while you unscrew the cap, hence you can't get to the screw to unscrew it. Get out your Dremel. So vintage display car owners, great product. Ordinary drivers, you have been warned."

What a great design, and well built addition to my car! I had plastic caps on my license plate frame , and one of them fell off. I purchased these to replace them with stainless steel screw caps. They are much better fitting, and rather than pop on like plastic ones do, screw on ! They provide a much more secure fitting, and give my stainless steel frame a better look with matching stainless steel Chrome and Screw Caps! Highly recommend ! No more lost pop off caps!

Screws were perfect and brass threaded "washers" (cap mounts) went on without a hitch. The metal chrome caps screwed onto the threaded brass "washers" easily. I did not use any thread locker as the caps do not "want" to unscrew, but a dab of blue thread locker might keep your worries down ... but then I'd be worried about removing the chrome caps without damaging them if I ever needed to. Excellent product, far better than the plastic caps. Highly recommended!
