Son bought for his video games and was perfect for what he wanted. Not too big or small.

I've purchase many bookshelves, beds, other furniture and had no trouble putting it all together. There is so much wrong with this thing I barely know where to start... The color is nice, the boards are thick. The screws and other hardware was all wrapped up in a ball of packing tape, no labels or stickers to indicate what is what. There is a one page sheet of instructions, it's fairly intuitive except that nothing is labeled or looks accurate to the pictures for screws and such, no way to tell. Naturally I screwed up (literally) and ended up stripping something. No big deal, could still get the correct pieces in, but this thing is wobbly, once you get the shelves in, the brackets fall out, couldn't get the stupid brackets to tighten, they kept falling out. Then the shelves would fall too, because the sides are loose. So frustrating! Like I was in a cartoon or a candid video. I'm about halfway into this thing, several hours later... and I realize the shelves are too small for books. You might fit paperback novels in there, but it does not meet my needs, so now I have a pointless piece of furniture, an ulcer, emotional trauma and no idea what to do with it or where to put it (Well, I could thing of a few places). Save yourself some time, money, frustration... look elsewhere. The color is lovely, but not worth the headache.
