Spice Storage Annoyance Answered
I was tired of buying bottled spices because they were difficult to store, stack and to see their labels which would often find me buying yet another bottle because you couldn't see the spice in the cluttered assortment on the shelf! When I saw these I thought my problems might be solved but I had a question that no one could answer:- how much ground spice does one of these containers roughly hold?I decided to take the plunge and find out for myself and I'm very glad I did!I've begun purchasing refill packets of ground spices, they mostly start off in a minimum packet of 50g so this was the size I HOPED these small spice containers would hold - AND THEY DO!!!The attached photos show a refill packet of spice with the amount held [50g], there is a photo of the contents first tipped into the container and then a photo where it has been tapped down, levelled out and the lid put on showing the neat clearance space left. Thus these containers are perfect for ground spices up to 50g.Pro's-The containers stack, but do not have pre-formed stackability in their bases to fit into one another when stacked, thus I only stack 3 at the most.-You can easily cello-tape the label from the refill spice packet onto the container's side for easy viewing and identification - see photo.-The various openings *click* into place. There is a sprinkle, a pour hole and a close-over to select from. The *click* feature makes your pouring hole selection secure, with no annoyance of it swivelling free and causing a miss-selection.-Enjoyable colour palette; clear container makes contents viewable thus you know when to get a refill, the white pouring selection wheel makes it clear and quick to find the right hole of choice, the green lid is... apple green. It's a refreshing change.-Has a good seal and there is no fear of picking the pot up by the lid and having the valuable contents spill all over the place.Cons-If you wanted to have a comprehensive spice rack and keep spices in these containers it would be quite an investment with what the price is for 6 of these small containers, however you get what you pay for and in this case that means GOOD QUALITY that will last an age, if you're a careful, respectful owner.I have 18 spices in an odd assortment of bottles with poor, flimsy, broken plastic lids and only 6 of these containers.... Will I fork out and invest in more of these containers?Yes, I will.

Way too small!
Way to small, thought it would be bigger. The worse part is, when you are trying to tilt the cereals out with the blue lid on, doesn't even come out! So you have to take the blue lid off first to pour the cereals out...so silly! Couldn't be bothered to return it, so thought I would still use it for cereals and to store biscuits and other things, so didn't go to complete waste! Just the size was an issue!

A bit pricey but worth it.
Bought to store herbs and spices. Main plus is the size and that the containers are properly airtight. The different dispensing holes are useful too. The shelves are handy for keeping them together but I won't be fixing them to a wall as I believe herbs & spices should be kept in the dark. They fit nicely in my cupboard. I may buy more.

But I like the way the lid has 2 options for dispensing ...
Smaller than I expected so they don't always hold a full pack of cereal. That could be my fault for not reading the dimensions properly. But I like the way the lid has 2 options for dispensing food. One end pours - good for cereals or pasta etc. and the other end is more like a sieve - suitable for flour etc.

click up / click down - works!
Just a basic roduct you need. The lid sits very well and I like especially the opening, as it holds itself up when you lift it high enough. That's very handy when you want to poor out sugar or cereals. And then you just press it down and it clicks on very well.

Do the job well
Good basic storage containers, certainly fit for purpose. I am not sure how they can be described as stackable. Yes, you can place one on top of another, but they do not interlock so are not held in place in any way. Good quality.

Easy takes a store bought spice/herb bottle.
Bought 3 packs of these tp organise my spice and her collection. The little ones stack 2 high to be the same height as the larget ones. They all fit in my kitchen drawer.

just right
I wanted some matching lightweight containers for all my spices. These fit the bill perfectly. So good I ended up buying 2 more sets. I have also seen that you can get smaller sets and larger sets, so I will be ordering those soon.
