Amazonas AZ-2030860 New Globo Royal Cover

I've had my double globo for a few years and have bought two covers previously. Whilst they did the job they were a bit short and would 'rise up' in wind leaving the lower part of the chair open. So much so, I bought some clamps to keep the cover down. They were also thin and one perished over time.This new cover is much better quality, it's longer going over the bottom of the hanging chair. If you have invested in a globo (they're not cheap) you really want to look after them, this cover is a must if you leave the hanging chair out in the summer. I will still take my cushion in each night and I treat/varnish the frame each year as it is soft bonded wood, keeping the frame wrapped in a tarpaulin in the winter and the chair in the shed away from the worst winter elements also helps. One last thing, the cover is great in the autumn/cooler days as it can be used a bit like a tent to keep the wind off and I've been found snoozing like that!

You have to have one if you have a Globo Royal hanging chair and don't want to be cleaning bird poop off your cushions but it's of poor quality; that it fades, I can live with. But it started to tear all over after 12 months and, from that point on, it's on the fast track to the bin. Would be much better off it were made of the same, durable material used for awning panels. As it is, it should be considered a disposable item.

Heavy duty cover which means I can leave my globo hammock cushion out in the summer with this cover over it. And the globe (without the cushion) out over winter knowing it has some protection. Much more robust than the very thin cover that came with the hammock originally. So far it has survived 6 months of all weathers pretty well. There is a slight design flaw in that the holes at the top where the hooks go through the cover are a little too large so it looks like they'd let rain through.

Within 18 months, the fabric had disintegrated. Not fit for purpose.

If you are buying the chair, get one of these at the same time. Easy to put on and remove and keeps the cushions dry even when it's raining. Means you don't have to remove the (heavy and bulky) cushions all the time.

Love it, don:t have to keep taking cushions in when raining.

Whilst this cover is a fairly good fit for the unusual shape of the swing seat , that’s about all it is . I guess it protects the chair and cushions from bird mess but it is no shape or form even vaguely waterproof .I will probably cut off the zips and use it as a template to make my own

The media could not be loaded.  Since purchasing my globo Royal swing 10 years ago I have gone through 4 covers. The original cover when I purchased was cream and lasted me 5 years (see photo), really good quality. However, these amazonas cover don't last more than 2. I find they discolour quickly, but worse than that perish after a year or so. On my original cream cover I could leave the pillowcase on the seat for a few days when it rained as the cover had a good waxy feel. These latest green covers however are useless. They let water in everytime it rains. When I open the zip all the inside is wet and my pillowcase sodden. Eventually destroying my pillowcase. I thought these covers were waterproof? Washing numerous times I could not remove the mould from my pillowcase (see photo) . I have had to buy another pillowcase. Fair enough it lasted 10 years but would have lasted longer if not for these covers allowing water in. Very disappointed. (My video just shows the discoloration of the product. I've had the cover 4 months) .

Passt perfekt zu der Schaukel. Praktisch zu beziehen. Könnte allerdings günstiger sein.

Leider war die Hülle nach wenigen Monaten bereits kaputt (rissig, ausgedünnt und verblichen), obwohl Hängeschaukel und Hülle geschützt unter Dach stehen.2 Sterne für die ansich gute Passform und die praktische Öffnungsmöglichkeit mit den beiden Reißverschlüssen.Bei dem Preis darf man aber etwas mehr Qualität erwarten, so dass man nicht jedes Jahr eine neue Schutzhülle kaufen muss!

Nach einer Saison ausgeblichen und porös.Jedes Jahr für 70€ eine neue Abdeckung kaufen?Der Sessel und das Gestell sind super... Die Abdeckung aber eine Frechheit.

Die Farbe verblasst sehr schnell und die Schrauben scheuern nach 2 Jahren durch. Sehr gut wasserabweisend deshalb empfehle ich es gerne weiter
