BLACK + DECKER BEHTS401-GB Hedge Trimmer, 500 W, 240 V, Black, 50 cm

I've only unwrapped this so far. Bought this as a straight replacement for my old B&D hedge trimmer. Needed a new motor @ £45 so this looks good value @ £70. It looks the part.

Good safety features, easy to use and gives a good neat finish to shrubs and trees.

Really good. Sharp, fast,strong, long lasting battery. Just joy while trimming hedges....I do it myself and it doesn't cause any difficulties. Isn't heavy.( I am a woman)

It's a brilliant hedge trimmer and works fantastically on wider headges. I have a very long backgarden so a longer cord would be better. So use with a extention cables.

Makes light work of the hedges in the garden for my elderly husband. Quieter than most and he loves the end piece for larger branches. Thank you.

Good trimmer though heavier than I thought. Did a great job though cutting the hedge quickly and easily. Also cuts through small branches!

This hedge-trimmer does its job very well and is thankfully easy to use. Having arthritis in my left-elbow I wanted something lightweight and easy to handle, which this is. Balance is good too, making it light even when above the shoulders. It cuts effectively through the bushes in my garden, as well as I had hoped, and some of them are quite challenging. The lead is usefully long, so with an extension I can easily reach all parts of the garden.

Does the job but branch cutter on the end is a bit of a gimmick and pretty useless. Don't buy it unless you only want a hedge trimmer, it cuts hedges well.
