I tested all 6 of the bulbs and they all worked on arrival. I installed two of them in a refrigerator and will use the others elsewhere. The light quality in the fridge is good to my eye. It is a bit cooler shade (higher color temp) than the incandescent bulbs I replaced, but I think it works well. I can't, of course speak to longevity yet. The incandescent bulb that burned out (one of the two original bulbs ad burned out) was about 10 years old, so hopefully these will last until the fridge itself needs to be replaced. While doing the changeout I noticed that the original incandescent build did get pretty hot, so while the total additional heat load may be small, there should be some energy efficiency improvement from the heat load, in addition to the lower current draw from the bulbs.

I used these to "upgrade" my 10-year-old fridge to have the cooler, bluer LEDs. I needed 3, and they swapped right out in under 5 minutes. They work flawlessly. The beauty of these (besides having a more modern feel with the bluer tint) is that if you leave the fridge door cracked (hello, French doors!) the LEDs aren't going to heat the thermometer up nearly as badly as the incandescents did.If I could have them do anything extra, it would be the fade on/off that the fridges and some newer LEDs do. But for the price, I am absolutely, 100% happy/ecstatic.

This review is for the LOHAS A15 5w LED appliance bulb with a standard E27 socketThey're exactly as bright as they need to be with a clean white (not bluish) light. They seem much brighter than the yellower/warmer incandescent bulbs that came with the fridge (one set is still working). I've been looking at A15 LED bulbs for years now, and these hit the mark on cost per bulb, and the reviews were mostly positive, just when I was asked to replace the two burnt out bulbs. However, I also believe that some of the negative reviews weren't even for this particular bulb.

I used these in my GE fridge to replace the incandescent bulbs. They work well and the only comment is that the fridge color is bright white instead of a warm glow. But I like it bette now after getting use to it.They run a lot cooler than the incandescent. It is amazing they designed a 40 watt incandescent light bulb in the fridge: it melted the plastic (and warmed the fridge!). These new bulbs run cold and there is no chance it would melt the plastic. So it also keeps the fridge and freezer colder whenyou open the door. I think these are great!

I got these bulbs as a replacement for a burned out 40W A15 bulb in my refrigerator. Since these LED bulbs are daylight white 5000K I decided to replace all 3 incandescent bulbs in the refrigerator. I will also replace the incandescent bulbs in the freezer at a later time.I find the light pleasant, not harsh. The light level, as determined by my eyesight, seems to be about the same I had with the original 40W bulbs.Cannot tell that there is now less light inside the refrigerator.The bulbs are the same physical size as the original.Since I just installed these bulbs a few hours ago I cannot vouch for their durability or their lifetime.

I purchased these to replace the incandescent bulbs in my refrigerator (it takes 5). In general refrigerator and freezer lights are on so briefly that even incandescent bulbs in them cost nearly nothing to operate. So replacing them was hardly a savings in the financial sense. But I was more interested in improving the quality of the lighting. While some people dislike 5000k or daylight spectrum lighting because they consider it harsh, it is, in fact, much better for indirect lighting (light that is reflected off a wall, ceiling or appliance interior) and it isn't really harsh at all when used for that purpose unless the source is too intense - in other words, the lowest wattage that provides good visibility should be used.Most new appliances are equipped with led lighting now, but mine won't be needing replaced for quite a while and they came equipped with incandescent bulbs. These bulbs aren't labeled for appliances, but they are 40 watt equivalent and size A15 which is the standard size and wattage used in most appliances for many years, and they're working just fine.Cold is actually good for led's - in fact they're actually brighter and last longer at sub-zero temperatures. Note: heat destroys LED's and their enclosures are mostly plastic. It is unsafe to put LED bulbs in a standard oven; at best, they'd melt and quit working, at worst, they could catch fire and damage your oven.I've been using the bulbs for two weeks now; they're brighter than the old bulbs, but so far that's the only noticeable difference. I put the extra bulb in a reading lamp, and I'm amazed by how much better the light is for reading than the old soft white incandescent it replaced was.

These bulbs are awesome! Super bright,instant on. Used for my outside light fixtures on the house, way brighter than standard bulbs. Ordered extra of these to put in my refrigerator-amazing. Very pleased with these bulbs, excellent bulbs at an excellent price, would recommend these.

I "updated" my refrigerators/freezers with these bulbs and they have been functioning flawlessly and look great. The bright white light (not blue/white, just pure white) is superior to the dimmer yellow light of the appliance bulbs I was using and I can see everything inside much better. I have had no issues in either the refrigerator or freezer due to moisture that might be in the air and the cold temperatures in the freezer have had no adverse effect on their performance. I would not put them in an oven as LED bulbs don't like high temps. For the price these can't be beat.

I was only recently made aware of what light descriptions mean. We had some "daylight" bulbs on hand when some in my ceiling died, and that was obnoxiously bright.

I bought these to replace some incandescent bulbs that died in my Whirlpool refrigerator. Since it was difficult to find an exact match for my old bulbs, I decided to upgrade all...

It made my old refrigerator appear new.

Around 2 weeks into using these in the refrigerator, everything works great. The white tone makes our old fridge looks modern. Good product, hope usage life lasts!
