Okay I very rarely leave reviews unless I absolutely love something or I truly despise it and it belongs in hell. I bought this to test out after trying several powders including but not limited to Huda, Laura Mercier, Estée Lauder, bare minerals, etc. while they look good, they do not last on my skin. I have combination skin, but throughout the day it’s like my makeup literally slips off of my nose (gross I know), it cracks and separates on my chin, and I’ll have dry patches under my eyes. This is with considering pairing water based products with water based products or silicones w silicones AND good skincare prep. No matter what I did, it wouldn’t work. I even completely ditched cream based products because I was convinced I could not wear them. Long story short, I bought this tiny thing of powder and tried it not expecting much and I have been wearing it consistently for two weeks with no issues. My makeup does not crack or separate, I do still have some issues with dry patches which is most likely on me and my skin but this powder lasts literally 8 hours or more for me. I can set my whole face without worrying. Transfer is inevitable for any makeup product but I do feel like it minimizes transfer quite a bit, it definitely helps with the makeup on my nose and it’s extremely mattifying. Overall I had to leave this review because after 15 years of trying to find products that work for me (and not having much luck) I was so taken aback when this tiny pot of ambiguous translucent powder that I purchased absent mindedly for $12 did the damn thing.

I actually like this. Initially when I first touched it with my hands it felt so dry and chalky but when I put it on my nose/cheek area where I have large pores it is really blurring and mattifies for most of the day. It’s also truly translucent. If it goes on a little white/chalky at first give it a second. It will go translucent. I still love my huda beauty the most, but that’s a textural thing.

I LOVE dermablend powder. It works amazing especially for oily faces. I recently ordered and received what I believe is a fake. As soon as I opened it, it had a strong smell that the original does not. I still have a container of the original, the feel, look, and smell are different. Even the fakes packing is slightly larger. Left is real in pics, right is the fake.

I bought the translucent one in a 1oz.I really love this one and it’s lasted me a long time. A little goes a long way for this product! I bought the small one to test out and then a couple months later, I bought the bigger one. I use this to hide the shine on my face, mainly the t-zone area. I mainly use this, under my eyes, eye lids, nose and forehead. It provides great coverage, it lasts a hours so I don’t have to reapply too much. I’ve tried out many powders and they didn’t work well at all. This one, it hides the shine and sets my makeup pretty well. You don’t want to be using too much where there are creases, like your eyes. It’ll look funny but it really does help.
