It is recommended to buy 6-strand sewing thread, because if it is too thin, it is easy to break while working. But as long as your sewing thread doesn't break in use it's fine. Can I use this machine to sew canvas material like the one painters use?

The max allowed thickness of the material is 3-4mm( after pressing the material). If your canvas has other paint on the surface(such as waterproof coating), please give us picture so that we can further confirm whether our bag closer machine can work for you. 1. Will this work with leather?
