This medicine cabinet is made very well and is easy to put together. All of the materials are high quality and it’s very sturdy. It’s not very deep either so you don’t have to recess it although it does look better recessed. The light is bright but not too bright and has a soft glow to it due to the frosted cover. It comes with two shelves that you can install in different spots depending how tall the products you’re putting inside of it are. The mirror works nicely and it opens and closed easily. There’s a button on the bottom that you can use to turn the light on or off and to change the hue. The size is perfect for over a small pedestal sink or in a guest bathroom. It’s a little expensive for the size of it but the quality is great.

Horrible design. It need assembly with 6 particle board parts and the holes for the hinges inside jamb don't align with the door side. Its impossible to attach the mirrored door. It needs new pre-drilled holes for 3 hinges. Very disappointed, no quality control. Update: the seller contacted me to make it right in regards the defective unit which is a good thing and is the right thing to do. Thank you!

I am giving this four stars because the makers advised assembly is required. Had they not done so, I would have marked lower, because this is every bit as complicated as building a kitchen cabinet and installing it. I give four and not five because the instructions could be better; but at the price, the components are about as good as you can get. The product is well packaged and protected from damage in transit. On unpacking, the various parts are not labelled, which contributes to the loss of a star. The thing I most like about this unit is it can be assembled with the door opening either way. The thing I least like is the lack of a plug. It’s true that this will almost always be wired into a lighting circuit, but it is also true that this might not take place for weeks after delivery, by which time it may be too late to return the goods if there is a fault with the lighting. So why not include a plug? They cost cents if you’re a manufacturer. This may be made of some kind of synthetic board, but the finish is a lot better than that of typical competitors. The fittings are excellent and go together well. However having to work out which way up the sides went was a direct consequence of not labelling the components. Fitting the cabinet to a wall requires some accurate drilling, and a soundly built wall to take the weight, but the fittings provided are really good. The shelf fixings are the best I have ever handled, providing real grip on the shelf, not just providing a ledge for it. I do not think it makes sense to fit the hinges to the door before trying to push three of them into place at once whilst holding the heavy mirror door aloft. I fitted the hinges to the sides, then had a friend hold the door up whilst I screwed the hinges to the door, which was far easier. In use, this is a lovely unit with a simple push button underneath instead of button icons. I think it would have been better to provide a robust handle for such a heavy door, rather than relying on pulling it open with a finger hooked under the bottom edge. Maybe I will fit a self-adhesive knob or handle, if I can find one that looks right. This unit is money well spent for the handyman, but the householder without experience building self-assembly cabinets should factor in the cost of getting someone else to help; I do not recommend beginners building this themselves. Though this is advertised as being dimmable, the version I received was not, having a simple on/off switch. I am not going to mark it down for that, because dimming is a feature that looks good on paper but I am convinced is very little used, especially with medicine cabinets.

The build quality feels solid, but the assembly process is challenging due to the need for hardwiring into the wall, which adds to installation costs. While the storage capacity is impressive and keeps everything organized, I found it to be less user-friendly during setup. Overall, it offers good value for money, but be prepared for a complicated installation process.

If you require a new medicine cabinet that is also lighted, I don't know that you will possibly find a better one than this Reflexon brand. We ordered the 24x32 inch which is a standard size for a basic medicine cabinet. The sizing is just right, and the storage capacity is still good for a cabinet that is about two feet wide by just shy of three feet tall. The assembly and installation work is easy to do, the final result a great looking lighted mirror cabinet. The quality is surprisingly good for only being about a hundred bucks, which also puts this at a nice budgeted purchase. Comes with all the parts and hardware needed to put it together.

This mirror/cabinet combo has made a big difference in our bathroom. The built-in lighting is bright and evenly lit. Installation wasn’t exactly plug-and-play—it’s definitely a two-person job—but once it’s up, it feels sturdy and well-made. The mirrored interior is a nice touch too.
