Thin and not suitable for wooden dining tables.
It is not as thick as the silicon table mats you get in the US. My wooden dining table gets marked with the vertical lines of the mat when I place hot vessels on them.

Very useful kitchen dining table mat
Absolutely love the size. Put them next to my stove for hot items/pot. Most beautiful shade of yellow colour. Really adds to my kitchen decor.
